Beautiful property, and so well placed for the village and the surrounding beaches!!Hosts are really friendly.Would 100% recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit the area.
This is our third stay at Poppy and we love this beautiful house. It’s well kept and well stocked with everything you need. It’s a great base to explore the Lizard Peninsula and Cadgwith Cove.
Clean and well equipped property. Safe, fenced area for the dogs to go outside. Very helpful host.Beautiful area to visit but v steep hill to nearby village.
We had a great stay in poppy cottage. It’s a perfect location, very tranquil setting and the children loved the goats and ducks. It’s very easy to walk to the local pub for dinner either on the coast path or the road. The cottage had everything we needed and was very cosy and stylishly decorated. The local coastal walks are stunning and the main shops aren’t too far away. It’s a perfect place for a peaceful stay.
Property in a lovely position just above Cadgwith and within easy walking distanceCottage was great. Clean with everything you could need for a holiday stay. The host could not have been more helpful and was there to greet us on arrival. This was our second visit and would be more than happy to stay again. We took our small dog and there are numerous walks all around.Patrick
Paula and Paul were fantastic hosts, any issues were dealt with swiftly and professionally. The house was bigger than expected and we had plenty of space. The access to local walking routes makes this place magical and appreciated the welcome booklet from Paula and Paul highlighting this. We cannot wait to return!
Wow! Where do I even start? What an absolutely brilliant little cottage! The location, the cottage itself, and everything about our stay has been perfect. It's quintessentially charming, spotlessly clean, incredibly welcoming, and the perfect size for our family. It has everything you could possibly need, with so many thoughtful touches; from the cleaning essentials and cupboard basics like salt and pepper to the delicious fresh scones waiting for us on arrival. The little courtyard is a lovely place to enjoy a morning cuppa with a book as the sun starts to peek through. The grassy area is perfect for a kickabout or a few ball games, and the goats and runner ducks were such a wonderful addition, they were a huge hit!!Paula has been fantastic from the moment we booked right through to our departure. She's been so friendly, helpful, and a genuinely wonderful host.We really hope to return one day and honestly can't recommend this place highly enough. A perfect stay from start to finish!

Aw, thank you SO much for your lovely feedback, we hope to see you again!!!
The host provided very good communication and decorated the cottage with a Christmas tree and festive lights. There was a nice welcome tray of scones, cream and jam and little xmas goodies
We've stayed at Poppy Cottage for the second time and it was just as cozy, clean and nicely decorated as we remembered it- you feel at home right away!
Here for a winter short break. Paula the owner is lovely and was so accommodating and helpful after our situation led us to change dates. Lovely spotless accommodation with scones and cream upon arrival. 5-10 mins walk to cadgwith and pub is amazing with really friendly owners. Ducks and goats a welcome when you are outside. Super cute. I hope to be back.
amazing cottage i(Poppy) n a great location, spotlessly clean , well equipped and so peaceful. , the welcome cream tea was lovely. ideal spot for a great Cornish adventure
Beautiful setting on the edge of a beautiful village with a lovely pub, close community and direct access to the SW coastal path. Peaceful, amazing views of the Milky Way in skies free of light pollution. Lots of interesting bird life, seals and dolphins in the sea.
We had a very nice stay in 'Poppy'. Very friendly hosts, clean, cosy apartment, with beautiful surroundings: the village of Cadgwith is beautiful, and so are the walks you can make directly from the doorstep. Would reccommend it to anyone.
