A wonderful holiday cottage .. a very peaceful location .. everything you could ask for was there for you to use .. the beds were very comfortable!! Excellent communication from Julie the host .. would highly recommend if you don’t mind the narrow lanes to get to the cottage !!
A wonderful place away from all the modern noise, we had a lovely week in Cornwall and the barn was a perfect base for our days out .The whole place is perfect, the living space is comfortable and we loved the large sofa .I had several lazy baths which were a treat and the shower was lovely too.The bed was very comfortable and combined with the peace and quiet we both slept very well. All in all a lovely experience and would love to go back sometime.
Was surprisingly easily to find. A heads up that the roads surrounding the barn are narrow two way country lanes and the road leading up to the barn is very gravelly. The property was lovely and clean and the atmosphere was great. It’s about a 35 minute drive to St Ives and a 10 minute drive to Tesco Superstore. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Smooth check in and great information prior to arrival.Lounge and kitchen area is really spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, and beds very comfortable. Although the heating was set, it is very damp. So any wet items didn’t dry overnight- even lightweight jackets. There also aren’t many hooks for hanging coats near the front door, not a massive problem, but small things like this make a place feel more homely. It’s a very narrow, single track road to get to the property, the last section is very rocky!Overall, we had a great 3 nights at the cottage.
Gorgeous property in a beautiful, peaceful rural location. Very comfy beds and everything needed supplied in terms of towels, washing up items etc. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!
Gorgeous decorations, fully stocked kitchen, loads of space for our toddler and very convenient and close to pretty much every beach we wanted to go to!
Wow what a fantastic break in a lovely property. Fantastic coms from start to finish. Accommodation is spotlessly clean and absolutely lovely. Very comfortable and a great base for exploring both the north and south of Cornwall. We will be back!
My wife and I loved our stay and highly recommend Cascadden Barn for a serene, picturesque escape in Cornwall.
Thank you to our wonderful hosts! We look forward to returning.
A really great and very quietly located accommodation. There is a lot of space and the garden is large and beautiful. We have made many trips from there and will certainly come back again. Thank you for 2 fantastic weeks in Cornwall!
We had some problems to find the location with car navigation system but a call to the owner and in addition the help of Google Maps enabled us to manage it at least. Our stay was very nice and the barn is very well stuffed. We missed nothing and therefore we can absolutely recommend a stay at Cascadden Barn
Really beautiful accomodation exactly as listed. Great communication and helpful owners. Getting there does involve ten minutes of single track country roads but they were very quiet and it was worth it for the idyllic location. So peaceful, beautiful outside area too. And the clearest night skies!
We had a fabulous time and still only 8miles away from Falmouth.
Five stars from us!
Very quiet place in the middle of nothing but near to everything
The barn is very comfortably furnished and very clean. The garden is wonderful with lots of beautiful plants. And Julie herself is such a lovely person and has always an open ear for you. The setting is adorable, close to nice beaches, small villages, Pups with delicious food and shopping. You can even see the sunset from the barn.We loved the coast path very much. It is really a home from home.
Beautiful barn conversion with amazing views from the back and approach. Very comfortable and well-equipped (no washing machine but the property description says that). Sun trap of a courtyard. Well off the beaten track with plenty of walks at the doorstep. Excellent location to Truro, Falmouth, north and south coast, Lizard….HEAPS to do in the area, perfect spot to relax.
This is our second visit to Cascadden Barn and the location is rural but only a 5 min drive to the village. Countryside views from the rear garden and lots of quiet lanes for walking from the barn. The barn is well equipped and the beds are SUPER comfy!Stithians is centrally located so nowhere is far, with Redruth/Falmouth/Truro all between 20-15 mins away.Great village park/playground/skatepark-church/country pub within 5 mins drive or 20 min walk through public footpath/bridle way over the fields. The hosts are friendly and responsive, and we highly recommend Cascadden!
It was a little tricky to find initially as we arrived in the dark. The Barn has been tastefully furnished an absolute stylish kitchen and living area with lots of room. It was spotless. The bedrooms were of a good size. The only negative were the beds. They were ok but having a bad back and shoulder I do need a good mattress that supports. I do not sleep well with a bed too hard or bouncy. The outside area is lovely , however due to being away for most of the weekend and than rain we did not get to use this. There is a BBQ and chairs to enjoy the outside. Loved the area and an ideal location to visit the Lizard and Minnack love this area. We would definitely go again if the bed was a little more comfy.
