Casa La Primula is located in a portion of an old farmhouse in a very panoramic, secluded and quiet position. You will find this typical stone house nestled on green, high wooded hills on the border between Tuscany and Umbria. A spectacular view of the impressive Pierle Castle, an ancient manor house of feudal origin, whose construction dates back to the 13th century to defend Cortona from the attacks of nearby Perugia, will make you dream of times long past.

About 5 km away are the villages of Mercatale, in Tuscany, and Lisciano Niccone, in Umbria. Here you will have all kinds of necessary services and groceries for everyday shopping. It should be noted that the road to the house (about 2.5 km long) is partly asphalted and partly unpaved, and has some sections with a pronounced gradient. It is passable with any type of car, but we do not recommend it for sports cars. However, we guarantee that after a little effort, you will be well rewarded, with peace, unspoilt nature and breathtaking views.

All around the house you will have at your disposal a large garden completely fenced with netting, which is also perfect if you are travelling with your beloved pets (extra charge could be required). It is equipped with a gazebo and outdoor furniture, barbecue and wood-burning oven. Going down a convenient path, you will reach the swimming pool for your exclusive use (size 5x10 - depth 1.20 - 2.30 m, completely fenced - open from 10 May to 30th October), perfect for enjoying the hot summer days.
Casa La Primula is rustic in style, with furniture and fittings typical of the Tuscan country tradition. You will immediately feel welcomed by the warmth of pastel colours; the wooden beams, stone arches and terracotta floors will take you back to ancient traditions of a past life, more genuine and quiet, in contact with nature. On request, Mirko, the owner, can prepare excellent meals for you with typical dishes, or even provide you with groceries for the day of your arrival. It is possible to hire bicycles and motocross or enduro bikes, and to organise guided excursions in the surrounding hills.
