Kitchen was set up lovely for everyone from ages 4-67. The host was very kind and helpful. The fishing was excellent. The neighborhood bait shop was very friendly. Morning runs were beautiful.
The place was clean. Plenty of room to park boat trailers. Great fish cleaning set-up.

Thank you Marc for your 5 star rating. Glad to hear you enjoyed the fish cleaning area and you appreciated the conditions of the house and ample parking area.
My family really enjoyed the accommodations and access to the lake, however, we thought the house would have been cleaned more thoroughly than how it was when we arrived. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Thanks Michael for a great stay on a great lake in an area of Wisconsin we love! Kayaking was perfect as well as the lake gave up enough crappies to have a big fish fry at the wnd of the week!!Thanks for everything!!
Great place to stay. Plenty of room, liked the extra fridge in the garage and that we could use it. Had some nice campfires overlooking the water. Also nice you can swim right there. We also liked boating to the different eating places they were all great.

Rita we're glad to hear you found the house a great place to stay.
The extra fridge in the garage is always a bonus for out larger groups. We enjoy boating to the different eating places as well.
Thanks for the great review!
House was great for our group of four families. The big bedroom was good for the kids. We rented a pontoon from the bait store just down the road, and it worked out great.
This was our second year to stay. Even though the trek to and from the dock is a workout, the property is very nice.. the view from the house is beautiful. Our family all enjoyed our stay and hope to do so again next year.

Thanks for the positive response Marjorie. We will definitely agree with you that the trek to and from the dock can be a workout, depending on your fitness level, but it is worth it to enjoy the lake and the see the views! Looking forward to you returning next year!
Great house! Plenty of room for our party that ranged from 6 to 12 people. Nice, Sandy swimming area and plenty of dock space for 2 boats. Beautiful views from the house and deck. We hope to be back again!

Great house for a winter multi-family get-together
This property worked well for four families + kids, with almost all kids staying in the extra room. Beautiful view of the lake. Driveway is steep but was well plowed before our arrival and was not a problem for 4WD vehicles.

Hey Colin, thanks for the great review. Glad the driveway was well plowed for you.
It's our goal to make our guests' stay as enjoyable as possible.
The house was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the lake and property immensely! The host was responsive when needed. The “climb” from the lake to the house was a bit much for grandpa and Auntie but they made it! We loved it!

Shane we're glad to hear you loved your stay.
We admit the climb can be tough for those who are older or weak.
We are aware that we need to make a change on the steps to the dock and we're working on doing that in the near future.
Thanks for the great review!
To many steps from water to house screws coming out of decking one step by dock going into water completely coming off railing on deck wobble an coming off no parking by house

This review isn't consistent with other reviews we've had. There is a hill from the house to the lake, but that is common on this lake and one of the reasons that it is a deep water lake. There are steps going into the water that makes access into the lake very easy. The railing is steady enough to allow safe entry into the lake, but I will check to see if it wobbles. This is the first that I've heard about screws coming out of the decking. I will look into that issue. There is room for at least six cars close to the house plus a two car garage. There's also ample parking for additional cars and any trailers at the top of the hill. I suspect that this person wrote a negative review because he was called out for not being honest about the number of guests that he had at the house, which may be why he needed more parking for more than eight cars close to the house. Normally, our guests are honest about the size of the group that will be staying in the house. On the plus side, this guest did leave the property fairly clean.
We had a great time with the kids and grandkids which are getting old enough to swim past the end of the docks. The stairs into the water made for easy access for the little ones while the older ones were jumping off the end of the dock.
We had a fabulous time! Many memories made. Steps to the docks was a challenge and no ac made for some hot nights but other than that all was good. Great accommodations all around. The views, private docks/swim area. Space for our family and loved having a table for all of us to sit at. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy such a beautiful place.

Jessica, we're glad you had a fabulous time.
We realize the steps to the dock can be tricky for older people. We are working on a plan to revise them in the future.
Thank you for the good review.
We rented the Eagle View house for our wedding party as we got married this past weekend. We really wanted a place where we could all be together for an extended weekend and this was the perfect place. We had plenty of room both upstairs and downstairs to get ready before the wedding and it was a great place to come home to. Beautiful view of the lake and dock access, we rented a few boats for the day after and had a great few days here. Would love to come back again in the future. Great place for big groups!

About the host
Hosted by Michael Sreenan
Our family has owned a small cabin on Long Lake on Bay Rd since the late 1950's. Every summer our family, (mom, dad, 4 sisters and 3 brothers, yes 8 kids in all) would go up to our cabin on Long Lake. In 2001 we bought the property next to the family cabin and built from scratch our Dream Lake House, with the idea that all of our families could go up and vacation together.
Why they chose this property
We love fishing, boating, water skiing, tubing, wake boarding and going to lunch or dinner at the restaurants on the lake. We like to pack coolers and hang out on the sand bar for the day and stop off at Prop's for their famous ice cold root beer in chilled mugs and good food.
