Beautiful Chalet at Crystal Mountain Resort

Northern Exposure Chalet is located within the village of Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville, MI. Although there is no AC, the wrap- around- porch and surrounding trees provide a comfortable place to relax. The five-bedroom spacious chalet features an 18 foot rustic river rock wood burning fireplace surrounded by the great room and dining area. It is a non-smoking, pet-free chalet. NOTE: Rates do not include Crystal Mountain's amenities. Crystal's amenities are available for purchase from Crystal by our guests and are pay as you go.

The house is beautiful, plenty of room, beds for all of our kids and grands, lots of towels and the kitchen had tons of dishes and cookware. Quality too, some rentals don’t even have 1 decent pan. The resort is nice, we took advantage of several of the amenities. Pizza, ice cream and a market all within walking distance. We enjoyed the fire pit 1 night and wood is supplied. I highly recommend this rental.

The home was great for our extended family. The room layouts worked well and there was space for everyone. It was well appointed with plenty of cooking/dining items, towels, firewood, games, various supplies, and outdoor seating. Host communication was prompt and clear.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. With 4 adults and 4 children between the ages of 3 and 16, space was an important factor, and this home exceeded our expectations. The layout allowed everyone to have room to relax and enjoy their time together without ever feeling cramped.The property was exceptionally clean upon arrival and was stocked with an ample supply of essentials, including towels, toiletries, toilet paper, dishes, pots, and pans. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was readily available.We visited during August and greatly enjoyed the outdoor amenities. The firepit, grill, and outdoor seating area provided the perfect setting for family evenings. We also took advantage of nearby golfing and spent our days exploring the area's hiking trails, biking routes, and beautiful beaches.We highly recommend this property to families or groups looking for a comfortable and well-equipped place to stay.

Girls golf trip for 8 women. Great location. Very nice home. We had a very hot week, so it was a little warm with no A/C but lots of fans throughout the house. Everything was great for our stay!

Mary Kay, the host, is awesome and it’s reflected in the way the cabin/house is furnished. The furniture is classy and comfortable, unlike many of the places we’ve rented in the last 12 years where the furniture is worn, old, and doesn’t accommodate a group comfortably. There was plenty of glassware and the cookware is in good shape. Beds are comfortable with pretty linens and comfortable pillows.
