This property was as advertised - Very clean, close to beaches, the dunes, and big enough to host our family gathering for vacation. They have lots of games, kayaks, bicycles, fenced-in yard, and the hot tub was a relaxing bonus. They keep things well stocked, and inviting!Very nice owners with good communication!

Thank you, Jean. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We would host you and your family agaIn in a heartbeat!
Pros: Comfortable beds, enough space for teens, small kids, and adults to not feel cramped, plenty of amenities, well stocked kitchen with lots of gadgets, indoor/outdoor games, close to good coffee and food, fire pit, canoes, big covered porch, central to tourist sites without being in them, great area for biking/hiking/beach, close drive to stunning beaches like Eche, Betsie, Platte, etc. The home still appears to be going through renovations but it did not affect our stay. Owners were very responsive and helpful. Cons: a lot of bugs near lakes, not an issue of the property itself. Not a ton of sights within walking distance and local grocery is expensive,
This host was unbelievably accommodating and Professional! When we asked for the Pickleball area to be cleaned up so we could play, they were there within an hour, and it was spotless when we got home. Then we played Pickleball! The home was impeccably clean and easy to use. The kitchen cabinets were labeled so we could find everything and there was a wonderful coffee bar set up. We had eight women in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us to have someplace comfortable to sleep and for us to play games and visit. The hot tub is beautiful! This home is very family friendly and I went ahead and reserved it for next summer for my family, and another week for our women’s group. Location is great, very close to area attractions.
Wow!! Have to say it’s the perfect place for a tubing weekend, relax, play and spend time with family! So many amenities and the 3 story game garage has everything you need to keep all ages entertained! It has EVERYTHING! And bikes and kayaks and a hot tube and beer cooler ant the outside wet bar and a projector tv and all sorts of video games and basketball game and pool table and card table! It has 3 bathrooms all with showers, so no long waits! It has an ice machine! All the beds were comfortable and 5 bedrooms! Most of all, the BEST HOSTS! I’ve been renting for years and have to say Bryce and Holly are number 1! Immediate responses, helpful, generous…just PERFECT!! We will be booking again!!
Absolutely perfect for littles and the property had everything we needed for our 18mo old and the location was great. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful for everything. Definitely will want to stay again!
Everything was perfect, we had a great time and any issues the owner was on the spot with answers. Check in and check out was great, they were very flexible! They had several extras they took care of as well to make it even nicer. Some things weren’t perfect but nothing ever is and we were very happy. Thank you again
Bryce had a clean home in a convenient location centrally located to Frankfort, the beach and Traverse City. We enjoyed our walks to the Platte river, and coffee at Weldon Coffee. This was a nice place for our family, and Bryce was great to work with.
We all enjoyed our stay and had a great time. The house was plenty big for the 9 of us, and we all felt comfortable throughout the stay. The hot tub was working and very clean, and there was plenty of games and activities to do at the house. Beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean.
We had a fantasctic experience. The home was cozy, clean and everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was perfect, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. Crystal mountain skiing very close and the hot tub at the house was a hit.
Communication was amazing! Everything was as described. Owners are continuing renovations but everything was cleared out of our way:). They checked on us to make sure all was well. The hot tub was so nice on a wintry night!
The house was perfect to fit our large family (10 adults). It was near multiple fishing spots and cute towns. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was spacious, with lots of cooking items. The hot tub and slushie machine were big hits. The owner was very welcoming and communicative.
This was a great place. The host was incredibly communicative and nice. It was a quick walk to restaurants and shops for necessities. The house was spacious and offered many activities. This was an outstanding location to take day trips out to various locations in the Western portion of Northern Michigan.
This is a great central location to get to all the towns - Frankfort, Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay, Traverse City, etc. - in this part of Michigan. The house is large and the separate garage with all kinds of activities is great for families with kids. Owners are welcoming and responsive to inquiries.

Hello and thanks so much for the interest in our home! I'm an elementary school teacher in Honor. We have the privilege of living in one of the most beautiful areas in America, but it does come with super high property prices, more than a teacher can afford. Your stay at our home helps up pay our mortgage. We are so very grateful!!! We have another place to stay when guests are over.
My wife and I have three young kids. We like to kayak, canoe, bike, hike, backpack, ski, and camp. I have hiked the Appalachian Trail and have ridden the TransAmerica Trail on my bicycle.
We take great pride in having the cleanest and nicest house you will ever stay at. Unlike rich people who have someone else manage their property, we do everything with great pride to make sure your vacation is wonderful. We go the extra mile to be accommodating to your family.
Why they chose this property
Every day my kids and I walk a few minutes down to the Platt river and play around or in it. We carry the kayaks right from the garage to the river and paddle away till my wife picks us up when we are done. It's a pleasant half an hour bike ride from our house to Lake Michigan. In the fall the salmon come right up to the bridge by our house. In the winter Crystal Mountain is only about 15 minutes away. We are a short drive from everything.
What makes this property unique
Being able to rent out our home has allowed me to buy all the cool things I have ever wanted for my family! We really have pretty much everything! We have two huge decks. One is partially enclosed with a hot tub and outdoor kitchen. We turned our huge garage into a pickleball court and cornhole tournament area. We have three arcade machines. We also have a lot of kayaks, canoes, bikes, and kid trailers. We also have tons of kid stuff.
