WALK TO THE BEACH- never deal with limited or restricted beach parking. Ride your bike or walk to the beach throughout the day

Cleaned and disinfected to the highest standards. Weekly cleanings are required for any stay longer than one week.

Super Cute 2 bedroom cottage that overlooks a nature preserve sleeps 4. It's Just 3 short blocks to the iconic Ditch Plains beach. Features a new modern kitchen that spills out to the front and rear decks and back yard where you can enjoy cooking on a new weber grill and lounge on the outdoor furniture. The deck also has an outdoor shower. Each bedroom features a queen bed (one bed being a tempurpedic) with Egyptian cotton sheets and down pillows. Both bedroom come with ample closet space. There is a Bose bluetooth sound system, Wifi, Cable and Apple TV. Four bicycles are provided for easy cruising to the beach or to town. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach wagon are included.

A security camera is located at the driveway entrance for your safety and security.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations permitted with a 10% fee plus the amount of any revenue shortfall from a successful re-renting. We strongly encourage renter to purchase travelers insurance as a means of payment protection.

We absolutely loved our stay on Brisbane! The location was perfect- 7 minute walk to the beach. The street was quiet, and property was well- kept. We will definitely be back when in Montauk next

Absolutely amazing!

Our week here was just perfect. The house is adorable, comfortable and has everything you need. The location also can't be beat - it's so close to Ditch and is on a very quiet street. Our host was also beyond responsive and helpful - I can't wait to go back again!

Relaxing getaway....

The Brisbane Ditch Plains cottage provides a lovely escape from the frenzied pace of life. The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable with a nice size kitchen dining area. Chris, the owner is responsive to concerns and questions. It's a short walk to Ditch Plains beach. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great Property, Location & Hosts

The cottage is so super cute and has a modern kitchen, a working fireplace, and a great seating set up. The bed and mattress was so comfortable. I was also able to enjoy both the front and back decks. Ditch is an great neighborhood, a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a great neighborhood to walk the dog and not worry about lots of traffic. The hosts were extremely accommodating and gracious. I would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend stay

The property owner was great to deal with. Timely & polite. The cottage is totally walkable to great Ditch Plains beaches. The place and amenities were precise to the listing. We had a rainy weekend, so we spent more time there than expected and were comfortable. The other homes are close by, but the neighborhood is quiet. Slept to the sound of crickets and surf off in the distance. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of linens. We used fireplace as it was super damp one night. Plenty of firewood available in town. Kitchen was great, washer dryer worked. Plenty of seating available outside. There’s a good list of activities, restaurants & services in the rental agreement doc. 5 min drive to downtown Montauk. Would stay again!

"Escape to Ditch Plains Leave Your Worries Behind..."

Our rustic, cozy little cottage provided the perfect setting for a long weekend retreat. The cottage is clean, clutter free and well equipped. Both bedrooms had new, clean bedding. The pillows and mattresses were encased in protective covers. The queen memory foam mattress in our room was quite comfortable for two tall people such as my husband and myself. The hot water was plentiful for showers! There are lounging chairs in both the back yard and front deck. The Weber gas grill was great! Although the cottage is small, the kitchen island and bar chairs made for a pleasant gathering space. Ocean surf could be heard at night! Chris, the owner was very responsive to questions and clearly has put much work into maintaining his cottage. We would definitely return!

We had a great week in Montauk. This little house is perfect - its adorable, has everything you need, in a great location, and most importantly it was very clean. Plus, it is pet friendly. Its really hard to find pet friendly rentals that check all those other boxes too! The host was very responsive to messages. I really appreciated the welcome letter with lots of great suggestions, which we referred to often. They have chairs, umbrellas, bikes, boogie boards, everything you need to enjoy the beach. I always appreciate not having to pack linens, so the fact that there were sheets, towels, and beach towels was amazing. I would absolutely rent this property again. We hope to come back soon to experience the off season - it was very crowded the week we were there, with long wait times at most restaurants almost every night. Plan accordingly! I would just point out to fellow dog owners, the yard is not entirely fenced in. It's mostly fenced, but there are points of egress alongside the house and a small dog can easily go underneath in certain places. There's also lots of wildlife to chase, so we ended up leashing our dog in the yard to be on the safe side. This was not a big deal although it was a little bit of a bummer. 10/10, would rent again!

Maybe the place needs a few touch-ups in places, but it's a casual, comfortable, clean, welcoming place to be. Any questions or concerns I had were quickly answered and with friendliness and flexibility. The distance to the beach is more than 3 blocks (it's .4 miles), but it's a flat, easy walk. Thanks.

Great beach cottage so close to the beach!

We have stayed several times at this house because it is just the perfect little beach cottage. It's very neat and clean, has a beautiful back yard, and is a nice short walk to Ditch Plains Beach. A plus is the neighborhood has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere!
