At Lake Iroquois (St-Adolphe-D'Howard), less than an hour from Montreal! Beautiful country house, rustic cottage style for rent! Located near a stream that flows year-round, it offers great privacy thanks to the large wooded lot where it is built. In addition, it is possible to enjoy the sun and the beautiful landscape either on the terrace (partly covered) or on a platform near the lake (not navigable). Several amenities are also available to enhance your stay including five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a shower room, a fully equipped kitchen, free internet (WI-FI), a pool table, a spa, an outdoor fire pit and two BBQs! It is perfect to spend unforgettable moments with family and/or friends.

Wonderful Stay

Our group of nine (four adults and five children) had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is warm, comfortable and very clean. It's in a lovely, quiet setting, but close enough to the two ski hills we were skiing at, as well as to grocery stores and other amenities. The owner was great to communicate with and answered any questions very promptly. We will certainly look forward to staying here again in the future!

Hidden paradise

The chalet was perfect for our family. It is located in the woods on a very quiet road. We were able to eat outside every evening without being bothered by flies or bees despite the sunny summer weather. We had a relaxing time. It’s approximately a 45-minute picturesque drive to Mont Tremblant. We’d do it again

Nice cottage for a large group

We had a lovely time at the cottage; the interior space is big, enough bedrooms and bathrooms to sleep us all in comfort. The bedding/towels etc. were all in great condition and the beds were comfortable and clean. We are all good cooks, so we were slightly disappointed with the kitchen, as there were no drawers for storage, the kitchen sink faucet needs to be replaced, we couldn't find a teapot and there wasn't a dish rack to dry the dishes. Also, while there was a bbq, it hasn't been cleaned in quite a while, and we had trouble getting it lit. The sound of the rushing river beside the cottage was lovely to listen to, but unfortunately the small lake that it leads into is basically inaccessible from the cottage property. We tried walking through the rocks, but they are sharp and slippery, making it a little difficult. We did walk along the road to try swimming from another location, and while we could swim, it's not a great lake for swimming. It's maybe 8' or 10' deep, and while the water is fairly clear (due to the rushing river), you can feel grass and weeds brushing your legs and feet while you swim. The cottage interior is a great space, we were just looking to enjoy a more lake-based experience, but overall, the 14 of us had a great time visiting, eating, laughing and relaxing.

Petit week-end en famille (7 adultes et 6 enfants âgés entre 9 mois et 7 ans). La propriété était vraiment propre, très chaleureux et bien situé pour apprécier la tranquilité et profiter des couleurs de l'automne. Nous avons trouvé l'endroit spacieux qui répondaient bien à nos besoins. Super séjour, à refaire!

Chalet de la mariée

Le chalet était la maison de la mariée, avec c’est 3 filles, gendre, petite filles et son père. Donc toute la préparation pour le mariage habillement maquillage coiffeuse etc…. Il y avais beaucoup d’espace. Après la cérémonie retour au chalet avec des amis proche pour finir le séjour. Bien apprécier

Laurentian Ski Trip

House is as advertised -- well appointed, clean, in a wonderful setting (quiet street), short drive to Morin Heights and St Sauveur. Had everything we needed for a two family getaway. Jean-Francois was exceptionally quick at responding. Would definitely rent same place again.

Nous avons passé du bon temps en famille. Endroit calme et discret. Les fournitures sont suffisantes et fonctionnent bien. Pas certain que l’eau soit potable (couleur jaunâtre) mais de l’eau embouteillée était fournie. Nous en avons toutefois manqué. Bon rapport qualité prix. Très satisfait du séjour.

Not as advertized

Layout of house was good. Property owner only advised us that we did not have any TV as DVD had not been working since June. We booked in August. We should have been advised before booking that we did not have any access to TV or could not watch any movies. Wifi was sporadic. My son went there to work remotely and kept being booted of Wifi. Access to lake not really feasible for swimming as advertised. BBQ was filthy. Dishes had been stored dripping with water. Frying pan still had food on it from previous renters and stored this way.
