The place was nice and fit our needs. There were a few things that needed to be fixed. Enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony in the morning and evening and look out over the water. I would stay again.

We stayed for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. Room was exactly as advertised. We loved the balcony and watching the sunsets in the evenings. The beach at this property is well maintained and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you for having us!

My partner and I stayed at the property from Friday to Sunday for a weekend wedding. We arrived late Friday night and after settling in we noticed spiderwebs covering the entire ceiling and at least a couple dozen spiders. They were in the main living/sleeping area, bathroom, and hallway. Thankfully we found a vacuum but were up until 1:00 am trying to clean all of them although some were out of reach because of the high ceiling. We then were questioning the cleanliness of the property and when we lifted the mattress we found bugs and debris. This made us wonder if even the sheets or blankets have been cleaned. I attempted to communicate with the host and received no response. I attributed that to how late it was, however I tried to contact her again the next morning and still no response. I then went to make a coffee with the keurig and it was filthy so we did not trust using any of the appliances or utensils. I tried once again to contact her that afternoon to try to get someone to come clean and once again she did not respond. We checked out the next morning and haven’t heard from the host since despite my attempts to reach out. I travel frequently and I’m not picky but this was disgusting and I’ve never experienced a lack of communication with a host like this. The price for the area in the summer is reasonable, however we had to clean the property ourselves and for that I believe I should get at least a partial refund.

Great place, great view, great location!

Easy check in and check out, great communication, and fantastic little spot right on the water! We enjoyed how close it was to downtown Traverse City, as well as easy proximity to other locations. Nice beachfront, shallow water. Perfect spot for a quick we can get away for a couple.

The room was clean & roomy enough for the four of us . The beach & water were great. Location was close to a lot of things but also didn’t feel like we needed to go anywhere with the beach & pool at the resort.

Our anniversary getaway

Overall this is a great property. Loved the location on the bay and the view. The private beach is a plus. There were some minor housekeeping issues but the property manager was very responsive when they were brought to her attention.

When I would visit Traverse City I would always rent at Pointes North due to the location and its amenities. In 2004 I had taken interest in purchasing a few condos.
