We absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay at Ambrosia. The house itself was magestic and beautifully appointed. The girls - 16 & 9 loved the pool as did other family members.

Lovely place. Great location and easy walk to restaurants, pub, wine bar and shops. Great for large groups. On our list for future stays!

Great location. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

Ambrosia is an excellent home to stay in. We were 5 sisters staying, with a bedroom each. Very spacious home, so convenient to so many great eating and drinking places. The heating system was great. Well equipped kitchen. The only thing we found, it was a little difficult having showers over the 2 baths.

Beds were comfortable.While we appreciate there has been lack of rain all over South Australia this should not impede the upkeep of the garden and outside area.We found the premises looking tired and unloved.

Ambrosia Vacation House

Great location, good size rooms and great kitchen / dining. Bathrooms are not ideal; both only have baths with no shower cubicle which would make it challenging for people with mobility issues, and one had no vanity to store personal items. House inside was clean however outside looks like no maintenance or care for a long time and no lights at the outside entertainment area. Was a little disappointed overall for what we paid

Great location, otherwise underwhelming.

Other than the location, which was wonderful, we were disappointed. The house was not clean (drool on the pillowcases, crumbs/dirt on the rugs, dirty stovetop). There is only one full bathroom; the second 'bathroom' is split between a room with a toilet and another with a tub and sink; the tub was dirty and peeling. When showering, water gets all over the bathrooms which was slippery and dangerous. While we didn't use the pool, the stones around it are loose and falling apart; the yard was overgrown. Overall, it felt like the owner has never stayed in the house - it lacked the details that make it comfortable, including surfaces in each room on which to put personal belongings, a table to sit at in the kitchen, a useable mirror in the bathroom, etc. It was spacious and we appreciated the milk, orange juice, coffee pods, and port. But, for the price, we expected more.

Great location

Property was as described. Coffee machine is compatible with Nespresso pods. Frypans are not great to cook on, best BYO these! Water pressure in shower was awesome!

Great location

The house suited 5 couples and having 5 bedrooms all with king beds was fantastic. House had everything needed for a great stay. Just a short walk to the end of the street were shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Would stay again.

Great location and spacious house

Perfect spot to explore the Barossa. The house was spacious and we comfortably fit 2 families. We had a great time here and I would definitely recommend it.
