The Cart House. Tastefully converted granite farm building.

The Cart House is situated in the village of Gulval with church and pub, and bus service to the stunning picturesque fishing village of St Ives just 6 miles over the hill. It is close to spectacular beaches, cliffs and the rugged Cornish coastline. It benefits from being in short and easy level walking distance to Penzance town centre, railway station, bus terminal and Isles of Scilly ferry. Mounts bay, with its safe beaches, St Michael's Mount and coastal cycle path are quickly and easily accessible. We can arrange surfing lessons, fishing trips, boat and wildlife trips and much more.


The property is ideal for families, being so close to all local amenities, but still retains a traditional Cornish village atmosphere. This traditional granite cart house was built around 1895 and has been tastefully converted to a high standard. The kitchen is equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, washing machine. Steps down to the open plan, light and airy living room with pine floor and dining area. There is a TV, DVD player. Selection of DVDs and books. French doors to sunny paved patio area with garden furniture and lighting suitable for BBQ's. Bedroom one: Double bed. Bedroom two: Single bed. Bedroom three. 2 Single beds which can be linked together. Bedrooms are carpeted.
Bathroom has toilet, basin, bath with shower over.

The property is centrally heated.

Bed linen, bath towels and tea towels are provided. Please supply your own beach towels. There is off road parking beside the cottage and unrestricted parking in the village.
The local area is famous for many outdoor pursuits including surfing and wind surfing on spectacular beaches. Wonderful sea views and rugged coastline. Fishing, hiking, riding and cycling.
