Description: The Grand Oaks floor plan features convenient single level living with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, elevator access, and a covered entry. The open floor concept has a spacious 1669 square feet with cathedral ceilings in the living and dining areas as well as the primary bedroom. Mountain views can be admired from the open kitchen, living and dining room areas as well as the primary bedroom. The kitchen boasts custom cabinetry and is equipped with everything to prepare a meal. Enjoy a meal at the dining room table, play cards or put a puzzle together. Cozy up in the living room in front of the gas log fireplace or enjoy your favorite movie. The choices are yours! The large 19 ft wide covered concrete deck is a place to gather with friends or enjoy a quiet afternoon enjoying the wonders of nature and the breathtaking mountain view. The spacious primary bedroom and bathroom suite offers a luxurious experience and access to the deck area as well as the living room. The guest bedrooms also have bathrooms offering privacy for each guest. Come for a short weekend or enjoy an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the top floor (upstairs, no condos above) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

The home we stayed in was so nice and clean! The view was amazing and the kitchen was well stocked. We ended up getting quite a bit of snow while we were there and it was an extremely easy transaction to add an additional night to our stay.

Great Mountain Get Away

The long range view is beautiful. The setup was perfect for our family of four - each girl had their own room and bathroom. We love the open kitchen/family room with fireplace and balcony view. The amenities are great too - we enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. There is lots to do just a short drive away - hikes, shopping, gem mining, blue ridge parkway drives, etc. Highly recommend!

Great Views!

Wonderful views! Great amount of space. Master bed was VERY firm and uncomfortable. We had a few problems, but they were very fast to correct them. Overall Great Experience. NOTE: Condo is on TOP of a mountain. We were a little scared with the snow. But everything worked out great.

Great place, painful admin

Place is beautiful, clean and beds are really comfortable. We have stayed in 4 separate properties in the area. It’s very modern by mountain standard. Having the community amenities is also a real plus. Major downside was the admin. The directions to the property after checkin with the rental agency are not clear. All trash must be driven to an area and there are no clear directions. But be prepared it’s down at the rental agency. This property required all dishes to be washed, dried and put away which is difficult when you therefore have to hand wash dry and put away any breakfast items. However in this case it was particularly complicated by the lack of dish soap, dish washer soap or sponge. We had to purchase all of the above for the weekend.

We provide a map in every check in packet with clear direction to the properties and the dumpster. There is a dumpster in the location you stayed as well, which would have been much more convenient. Wonderful!!!

It was a great stay and we were impressed with the views!!! Absolutely beautiful and serene. Mostly positive!! The only issues with the place was the fan in the bunk room looked like it was loose and it was very loud so the kids couldn't sleep with it on. Also, the hand soap they had in there for the kitchen and bathrooms was a very small amount and it was filled with water and soap so it was pretty useless. Otherwise, it was a great stay and instructions for checking in were pretty detailed. Would go again!

Great mountain top spot.

Covid check in was easy no contact. My sons comment when he stepped out on the balcony."I'm the king of the mountain." Fantastic place my only con was the trips up and down the mountain each time to go do things like the indoor pool(outdoor is close) .For that feeling of endless views though it was worth it. Artists bring an easel.

Great Girls Weekend

We had such a great time sitting on the couch, playing cards and admiring the beautiful view! This location is awesome! It's very clean, well-kept and had everything we needed to cook meals for 5! We will definitely rent here again!
