This orchard cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 and half bath. Bedroom 1 has a super comfy king size bed while the second bedroom has a bunk bed and twin. The living room is complete with a queen size sofa sleeper making the house very comfortable to sleep 7. The living room also offers a satee that when the back pillows are removed makes a nice but slightly smaller than twin bed, accommodating up to 8. The full bath has a large stand up shower with seat, hand bar, and a detachable shower head for ease for elderly and young. The half bath includes laundry. The kitchen cabinetry and appliances are all new making a beautiful little kitchen complete with everything you need including a dishwasher. The large kitchen counter seats 4, and the dining table seats 4. There is also a patio table set on the front porch perfect for enjoying sunsets. The attached garage is perfect for storing your larger toys or things you want to keep out of the weather. The huge yard offers lots of room for play and relaxation, including orchards and farm land for hiking and a fire pit for enjoying the lovely Northern Michigan sunsets and clear night skies.

Beautiful location convenient to area points of interest. Peace and quiet combined with a very comfortable bed made for some quality sleep. The owner was very responsive and the complimentary pastries were appreciated. The property was accurately described and affordable. It has minimalist decor and fewer amenities than many other places we rented, but that really wasn’t an issue for us since we were mostly there to sleep.

Very comfortable with a wonderful view. The bed in the principal bedroom is so comfortable! The grounds are beautiful.Rustic rental in only the fact that there is no TV or Wi-Fi. But there are a lot of board games and books to choose from.

Very quiet property with beautiful sunsets. Wonderful to have washer and dryer, king bed, 2 toilets, garage, full kitchen and adequate furnishings for a family. We did miss having TV and internet, but were gone most of the time, so it worked out OK. Sara was great and we enjoyed visiting Royal Farms for delicious goodies!

Location was great for what we were planning to do. Wanted to do some stargazing for vacation. It's about 15 minutes from charlevoix so it's convenient enough. Also 6 minutes from the antrim creek conservation area where we watched the sunset. Our host Sara was very nice, she provided us with iron and ironing board and firewood for the firepit. We made smores on our 2nd night there. I did have to clean off the firepit because it had dried weeds inside. Then we had to cut our smore night short as we started seeing green flames (could be a mix of fertilizer in there). Overall it is a nice property for quiet relaxing scenery. The only reason i left 4 stars and not 5 is because the beds were all worn, our backs hurt. I ended up sleeping better on the floor with our 3 inch inflatable mattress we initially planned to take to the beach for our our tent but ended up using it there. We also couldn't let the kids sleep in the bunkbed room because they were scared of the flies that looked like mosquitoes and the room a bit too cold but not the rest of the house. We left the doors open so the living room gets cool enough. Sara was nice enough to come and reseal the around the air conditioner. They were still getting in from somewhere we couldn't tell so my husband had to spray off bug spray around the outside of the rooms. Sara offered to spray insecticide but they couldnt do it until late 7pm (and too close to our plans of smore night).

In fact, guests regularly mention how comfortable the beds are, particularly the king bed. We understand that mattress comfort is very personal, and we certainly respect that everyone has different preferences when it comes to firmness and support. Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable and peaceful place for guests to relax and enjoy Northern Michigan. It was a great stay.

It was a great week long vacation stay. We enjoyed the view of the cottage, fire pit, board games and landscaping. We also used it as a base to visit nearby cities.

Unique and relaxing stay

Our family enjoyed staying at this home with the apple orchard - and secret path through the orchard to the bakery - complete with complimentary fresh-baked scones. We were fortunate to be able to take advantage of the new Friday night dinner offering there while enjoying the views from cozy Adirondack chairs. Great communication before and during our stay, with owners going above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed for our final night s’mores fun.

Beautiful and quiet. Perfectly situated right in the middle to drive the area around Torch Lake and easily go up North along the coast of Lake Michigan. Did not have a TV, but it doesn’t matter much if you are tired after spending all day at the beach and/or hiking.

Great Location

We loved our stay here! We were up for a golf weekend and had access to lots of courses. The property was super clean at check-in and Sara’s communication was great. We loved being able to walk through the orchard to the onsite cider and wine tasting room. I would highly recommend staying here!

Relaxing and beautiful views

We had an awesome vacation. Our children didn’t want to leave. We spent time with grandparents close by and lots of time by Antrim creek swimming. We had such a relaxing vacation even with the children along. We will be back someday I’m sure.

Orchard Tranquility

The owners were very responsive when I emailed about being there a day later than expected. There is no Wi-Fi which I'm not sure if the description had anything about that. We got a gift card for 2 delicious scones from their farm market that is walkable from the house. Overall was good.

Great family getaway

This house was perfect for our family to get away from the distractions and aliens time together. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to come together for meals, games and just hanging out. By there was also plenty of room fire everyone to spread out and get some rest. Beautiful location. Being on the orchard and by the market was great - our kids walked over each morning to get fresh cider donuts. Plenty of nearby outdoor activities and awesome scenery.

Great house with an AMAZING view!

We loved the home and surrounding orchard. It had everything we could ask for our family of six (three children and mother-in-law). We were visiting family in the area and the home was 15 minutes to everything (except the beach, that was only 3 minutes)! Our children loved playing in the large front yard and the home was very relaxing to come home to after being out with family. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip! Make sure to visit the Tasting Room and try the ciders...delicious!

Quiet with a view

This is the perfect place to totally unwind and recharge with out distraction. Just down the road is the Antrim Nature reserve with a nice beach and easy woodland walks. Or a bit further is a township park with picnic tables and benches beside the lake. But the best part is the view from the front of the house. We ate on the patio out front when we could but even from inside the view goes on uninterrupted.

It met all of our needs

We were in the Charlevoix area for our daughter's wedding and wanted a place that would sleep several people. The house was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Fruit trees bordered the property on two sides and there were beautiful views to the west from the "living" areas. Just down the road is a beautiful park on Lake Michigan. Sara was very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend it.

This house/ cottage is located adjacent to the Royal Farms U-Pick orchard and just a short walk through the orchard to the farm market where guests can get fresh baked goods and wine. While also being just a quick drive or nice walk to a Lake Michigan Beach, Antrim Creek Natural Area. Just a moment from US 31 the property is convenient to so many favorite Northern Michigan tourist communities, top notch golf course, fabulous foodie restaurants, and is the first stop on the Petoskey Wine Region Trail.

We absolutely love that this cottage captures all the beauty of Northern Michigan, the amazing sunsets overlooking Lake Michigan, expansive farm views, and quiet clear nights. Having our farm market just a short walk gives guests the opportunity to enjoy local foods and wines.
