Or wander less than a mile down the street to the Ellacoya Tavern, The Breeze (our fav!) or Patrick's Pub for a hearty meal and let them worry about the dishes! This property offers the best of both worlds! The kids are sure to love the bunk bed options, the tire swing and exploring our wooded yard! The on-site washer/dryer allows you to re-wash and dry your ski gear or swim suits for the next great day on Gunstock Mountain or Lake Winni. Enjoy a nightcap or s'mores under the bright stars while gathered around the outdoor fire pit!

Booked the tree house for a New Years Eve/birthday trip and it worked out great. We had great communication throughout the process and both families enjoyed it. Looking forward to going back.
Great place!! We were a group of 11 - 7 adults and 4 kids. The house was the perfect set up for us. It had everything we needed. And best of all was only a 10 minute drive to the pavilion! Will definitely return!
This place is in a great location in NH for a very reasonable price. The beds and couches are unbelievably comfortable there. The owners stayed in touch whenever we needed. Just make sure you completely clean up because you can rack up a decent bill if not (a decent amount of places are like this so it’s not a big deal).
We had a great time at this spacious, comfortable home. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group, and the outdoor space with fire pit was a favorite. The location is excellent, close to lakes, parks, and easy access to everything.A few areas could use attention: kitchen utensils and pans are worn (very scratched non-stick pans) and cleaning could be more thorough (dog hair on baseboards and outdoor furniture, cobwebs on windows, under island, couches, entertainment center filled with crumbs). The house was locked at check-in and we had to wait for a code, though the host was responsive even while traveling abroad. Sharing the code in advance would help avoid this.Overall, a great place with a lot of potential we’d think about staying again!

Nice home, great location!
We enjoyed our recent stay at this home! There are a lot of great things about this rental. The owner is friendly and accommodating. The house is very conveniently located and has plenty of room for a large group. The fire pit outside was a lovely bonus - wonderful for a chilly fall night.
We did have a couple thoughts for how this rental could be improved, however. Renters should note that no bedding is included in the rental fee. The linen fee covers sheets, but not blankets, pillows or towels. It was a bit inconvenient to have to bring our own bedding. Renters should also note that the fridge in the basement kitchenette is full of the owner's food, so it is not available for renter use. We were hoping to use that fridge for extra things for our large group, so we were a little surprised that it was full.
Despite these two points, we did have a very nice stay and we would consider renting his house again. Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback. All future guests should know that we recently improved our linen service to now include sheets, comforters, pillows and bath towels for all 9 beds. Towels for 14.
Also, yes we have an alternate fridge in the basement. While it does have owner food in it, we are happy to accommodate your items we just ask that you do not consume our items. This information is included in the rental narrative.
Thank you for providing this thorough review. We are always looking for ways to improve our guests experience. -Kelly
Overall experience was very nice. The outdoor fire pit and picnic area was very fun. The house was nice and generally quite clean. All the instructions were pretty straightforward. We enjoyed the pass to the little Guilford beach nearby. There was plenty of room for all of our party. Just a few issues put a bit of a damper on the visit. The biggest being, the brand new dishwasher did not work , leaving us to hand wash all the dishes for 10-12 people for three days. The other being when we arrived fairly late in the day, very tired, the clean sheets had not been put on the beds and, one of the beds had a twin sheet set out for a double bed (which we found out as we were getting ready to go to bed). The owners were very communicable about both issues but we were never able to get the dishwasher working. I was told I would get somewhat of a refund and I’ve tried to communicate with them since and have not heard back. Overall good experience. Had a grea time.

Jane, Thank you for your feedback. We enjoyed hosting your family. Please understand that the dishwasher is brand new and works perfectly fine. We have tested it numerous times since your departure and have had multiple renters since your stay. We understand adjusting to new technology has its hiccups but it does work properly. Although we apologized profusely for the mis-communication on the linens, we still feel badly that the cleaning service did not make the beds. For that reason we issued a refund immediately - please check your records as it would be issued by VRBO directly. If you do not see the refund, please direct concern to VRBO. For safety and privacy purposes we never see credit card info from our guests.
This house is the perfect one for a large family or two families. The great room on the first floor is awesome for dinners, playing games or just good conversation. The downstairs provides a second area for the same. The furnished deck on the main level and the fire pit area are perfect for outdoor time! The hosts are more than accommodating and responded to questions very quickly. I would highly recommemd this property for a special vacation getaway.
Communication with owners was easy and responses were timely. Fire pit with wood was provided which the kids enjoyed for making s’mores. We were also allowed to use the propane grill which was a plus. Clean home with many amenities and close Lake Winnipesaukee.
We rented this space for 6 adults for the first weekend Laconia bike week. It was absolutely perfect in terms of location. We didn’t want to be too far, but also not right near the events. It was very spacious and clean. The outdoor space was a huge plus.
Overall great place to stay, very quiet and peaceful. Close to everything in town.
Was great all around. Firepit, plenty of places to sleep and entertain, temperature control was awesome. Nice and secluded and awesome to find the brook.
Tree House was as described, reasonably priced with access to lake and mountains.
Comfortable for our group of 12, reasonably priced, many areas to sit and talk, but also watching the Olympics as a group. Hiking nearby, view from Mt. Major is spectacular (go early for parking). The Trudells provided a pass for the town beach (which is very nice) and we were able to use the tennis courts at the Gunstock Acres club. We cooked in (adequate cooking supplies & dishes), full sized fridge and grill. Enjoyed the fire pit each night. Sitting out on the deck in the morning with our coffee had the feel of being in a tree house. Plenty of parking out front and across the street. Thank-you for sharing your ski house Matt and Kelly.
We had a great time together as a family. My youngest daughter and her family were here from California. It was nice to have a place that could actually all after this past year of zoom visits.
The house was clean and we had all we needed. Easy access to the lake and other attractions.
My only suggestion would be to get a new grill. We didn’t use it, we had a large griddle with us so we were good!
Thank you!
Kelly and Matt were very responsive and helpful. The house was extremely clean and private. It was the perfect vacation house to enjoy the many attractions in the Winnipesaukee/Gunstock area with a larger group. Would recommend.

No free space for renters.
Owners food was in all cupboards, only one tiny free cupboard. Had to leave food out on counter or in bags. The drawers in bedrooms were full of owners clothes. The master bedroom did appear to be made up with clean sheets.
The bunks were extremely uncomfortable.
The kitchen equipment was lacking. Plates and bowls are chipped, no large frying pan, only a few cups.
The private beach is perfect for small children, but too small for adults and teenagers.
