"The Agate Bay Ranch"

Comfortable ranch style home in Agate Bay on Tahoe's beautiful North Shore!  The home sleeps up to 10 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It has a newly built deck facing a forested lot out back, wood burning fireplace and single car garage. Great for economical family get-togethers. Guests can cozy up around the huge brick fireplace on chilly Tahoe nights or enjoy a quick walk down to Waterman's Landing about 1 mile away for a fun and sunny day at the beach. Home has satellite television in the living area as well as wireless internet. Check in directly at property using a lock box.

Home is centrally located near Carnelian Bay's shops, marina, restaurants and beaches. Also just a short drive to many local resorts such as Northstar California, Squaw Valley USA and Alpine Meadows.

Tahoe Trip with New Friends

There were 10 of us (20s) staying at this cabin. It had all the amenities needed during our short stay. Though many things were dated (such as amenities, furniture, and decor) it was an overall pleasant space. I was never in contact with the property manager but they gave thorough instructions and expectations of how to take care of and navigate this rented cabin. My only major note is, the carpet is in need of some serious replacement.

4th of July Trip!

I will say it is a great location and a good size for 8-10 people. When we entered the property, the kitchen was not clean which was disappointing, but everything else was. I will say it is pretty dark indoors (with limited lighting), and it's pretty outdated, but you pay for what you get. Overall, a good place to say, but not very up-to-date. Thankfully, the property manager helped us out with that.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pictures on display are misleading. Shows the home as bright and well lit. Not the case. Should be advertised as rustic. Dark inside. Also screens and shows needs repair.

Nice and clean place to stay in just like the pictures , close to the lake and king beach. Cabin was easy to get to. It even had some staff that we forgot to bring the family enjoy the 3 day stay .

Great house very close to the lake

The property was clean and cozy. It has all the necessary stuff for a nice 3-4 day vacation. It's also very close to the lake and king's beach.
