About this property

North Lake Tahoe Perfect Home for Family Fun

A perfect home for a family get away with a maximum of 8 occupants. From the driveway you will walk up 3 steps to the front porch to the first level which has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, laundry room and is an open format with kitchen, dining and living room. The two downstairs bedrooms are in the rear of the house allowing for quiet space for individuals who enjoy reading. The kitchen has been updated with quality cooking equipment, microwave and dishwasher. The dining area has a sliding door that opens to an outside enclosed deck where there is a BBQ, table, umbrella, chairs, & outdoor lights. You can also access the enclosed deck from the driveway, only one step!

Upstairs is another separate bedroom with a balcony, bistro table & chairs, a bathroom, and a cozy loft which has two twin beds and a day bed with pop up trundle accommodating 4. Games, puzzles and books have been selected for family entertainment. There are three TV's, one downstairs in the living room, one in the upstairs bedroom, one in the smaller bedroom downstairs and all are cable ready.

Our home was completely upgraded 5 years ago. A great location, 10 minutes from Tahoe City and King's Beach, 5 minutes from the lake, 20 minutes to Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley and NorthStar ski resorts, and 15 minutes to the Nevada state line.

Sonia’s place was great and Sonia was a wonderful host. The house had everything we needed to and enjoy a weekend together and was close to great skiing and lovely trails. Comfy beds and a really well stocked kitchen made it extra good. When we had issues with the heat, Sonia was able to solve the issue immediately and was a kind and responsive host. We would stay again!

Sonia was an extraordinary host who went above and beyond to support us during our stay. We rented her house for ski vacation. At first, we felt so lucky—finally, lots of snow the week we arrived! But coming from the Bay Area, we had almost no experience handling such heavy snow (76 inches in three days!).On Thursday, when the snow lightened, we tried to head to the mountain and pick up additional groceries—but our car got stuck in the icy driveway. All the dashboard warning lights were on, with 13 alerts flashing at once. I called AAA, road assistant, local tow companies, even highway patrol, no one can come and help us. We were desperate and hopeless. Sonia immediately stepped in, treating us like family. She contacted us multiple times per day to make sure we were safe. She quickly reached out a neighbor to get groceries and arrange a snow plow for us. Sonia’s generosity didn’t stop there—She felt that this was an emergency situation so she extended our stay by two extra days, which relieved so much pressure and stress. Her care and support made this challenging experience not only manageable but memorable.The home itself is extremely comfortable, with a spacious common area, ample seating, and a kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were cozy, and there were plenty of extra linens.We would absolutely recommend this home and would love to stay here again. Sonia truly made this trip unforgettable, and we cannot thanks her enough!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the Perfect Home. It was clean, comfortable, plenty of room for everyone, and best of all, so peaceful. The home has everything you need to enjoy the most of your vacation. The indoor space and outdoor space offer so much room. The master bedroom upstairs is very spacious with an outdoor deck off of the master. The loft has 3 twin beds for our grandchildren and our adult children enjoyed the two bedrooms downstairs. Having two large bathrooms made accommodating everyone's needs due able. The host is very quick in returning text messages or emails. Will definitely look to book again.

Awesome house in the woods near Lake Tahoe

Very well set up house with everything we needed for a group of friends getting together. Great kitchen with utensils and spices for cooking. Lots of room inside and the outdoor deck was a great place to relax. Laundry facilities very handy.
