This is a beautiful, magical place! Views from every room are amazing, walking paths on the property and the river were well kept and navigable. Well appointed kitchen with anything you might need. River rock shower is the best! Fast WiFi. Every bed was super comfortable! The host was very responsive with any questions. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Great place to stay in private location. Lots of yard for dogs to run loose and play. Comfortable furniture and everything needed for cooking. Short drive to many hiking spots and other local attractions.

Spent 2 nights in this wonderful spot with 4 children ages 4-13. Wonderful experience all around. The home is very clean and beautifully decorated. The air conditioners were on and the house was nice and cool before we got there. There is a nice stack of old dvds, lots of books and games that the kids really enjoyed. The grounds are amazing! Lots of wide open spaces and a fun path that takes you to the treehouse and the river. The only disappointment was that the hammocks were not hanging in the treehouse. And while there is a wonderful patio with a wooden swing and rocking chairs and a great firepit, there is no place for outdoor dining. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely visit again!

Dirty when we arrived. Took hours for the host to return calls, then hours for the home to be cleaned. Even then sheets were stained and gross. Many amenities listed were not available or broken. Windows didn't open. Would not recommend this home even if it were free. I wanted to leave as soon as I arrived and am sorry that I didn't. Was worried about getting a full refund.

The host was very responsive and accommodating. This property is dog friendly with alot of room outside for walks on the trails and down to the river. The tree house was a great place to take a break on a hot day while walking the dogs. If you do take dogs, the only caution would be the spiral stair case. It was beautiful, but we blocked it so the dogs would not go up as there are openings on each tread that they could have their paw go through. If your looking for a relaxing break away this location is perfect.

We had a great time. The only complaint is that the internet for the tv we had to keep connecting the WiFi. It was very cozy and nice loved the floors that felt like they were heated.

We had a nice stay here. Keep in mind it was brutally cold, negative temps with the windchill, and the heat held up fine. The wood burning fireplace was also very nice. The only thing I would change is better directions into the place. You want to stay left at the fork and with all the snow it is near impossible to turn around if you have to go right (we also arrived late in the pitch black). Also if you plan on cooking, bring your own frying pan, there was none onsite. Overall very nice house, great hot shower, nice towels, etc. Kids loved the loft space as well.

Warm and comfortable cabin on a lovely wooded property with trails and meadows to explore! My kids enjoyed visiting the treehouse, climbing trees and skipping rocks on the river. The dog was in heaven. We took a day trips to state parks nearby for hiking and fishing. Look forward to visiting again in other seasons.

Perfect Location for a Relaxing Weekend

This is my third time staying at this location and it gets better every time. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. If you're looking to stay in the area, I couldn't recommend it more.

Peaceful Secluded Vacation
