DeLynn and I are happy that you had a pleasurable experience. Cleanliness is at the top of our list and believe that most people feel the same way. Hope to see you again!
Brian is an outstanding host. Everything is always in order and the communication and ease of check in and check out is great. Brian is the best host I have used and I recommend staying if you’re in the area. 5th year booking and always a great experience.
We stayed here while Hunting the Noxubee NWR. Not far from the refuge. Nice place for a group of guys to unwind after a hunt.

Wonderful, Peaceful, Just what we were looking for!!
The house was just what we needed. We came to town to move our daughter into MSU. The property is close enough to the school but not in the middle of the chaos. Everything we needed was included and the owners were beyond hospitable! We will be back!!

The country setting is beautiful. The furnishings on the inside are very homey!
My family stayed here for our daughter's graduation from MSU College of Veterinary Medicine. We were so pleased! The home is very clean, and the views of the cows in the neighboring pastures draw you outside. DeLynn couldn't have been more helpful. True southern hospitality!

We love happy guests! We do our best to make sure all of our visitors are well taken care of from assuring their arrival route is the best to honestly answering their questions. Whether your stay is the happy occasion of graduation, a sports win or an extended stay for work or a scheduled shutdown. We always try our best to have our guests leave happy with their stay.
Easy drive to campus, clean and cozy inside!
Check in and access was simple too! Just to manage expectations you are in the country and the home is dated however the pictures depict that. A quick outer power wash, some new mattresses (mattresses toppers were nice but the beds were noisy due to age of mattresses/springs) update the living room furniture and this place could be a real gem.

Country Living
If you enjoy country living, DeLynn's Delight is a great place to stay while visiting your college student. There is enough space for the whole family, the kitchen is ready for preparing family meals, and it gives the college student a retreat from campus life. The home is very clean, neat, and welcoming. DeLynn always goes out of her way to make you feel at home.

Wonderful Experience and Comfortable Home
We rented this home for 3 nights while attending my daughter's softball tournament in Starkville. This house was all that we could ask for, and Delynn was so hospitable. She welcomed us and made us feel at home from the beginning. The accommodations were perfect, and the pictures do not do it justice. Delynn went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely come back if I am in or near Starkville again.

HAD TO SLEEP IN CAR!!!!
I dnt understand other reviews bc:
HAD TO SLEEP IN MY CAR WITHMY 3 KIDS!! host WLD NOT respond to me. they ✔️ smthng for me while I was out& HE locked the door - I had forgotten key & cldnt get in when got back @ midnight. Apologizing it being late, called and msgd- nada- & was told aftr slp in car w/sick kid they had no obligation to answr phone late-too bad so sad - not even a “sorry” kindly suggested a pinpad entry for such emergencies but received a verbal slapIn the face . RUDEST ppl! PROS- country, peaceful, AC CONS- the owners for one! DIRTY KITCHEN &BATH I entered&was grossed out @ kitchen. rules on the refrigerator say the guest has to clean the ktchn when leaveing I BET MONEY they are doing no other cleaning. There was no dishsoap in the house- only dishwasher pods tht were in an old cream container& turning brown and were so gross. Boiled salt water and poured over the dishes that we used. They have a marvelous tub that I would’ve loved to take advantage of BC I have major spine & hip issues (tht I told thm &STILL forced to slp in car)BUT All of the drains are so clogged tht water backs up in shower and bath and all hair that’s never been cleaned out amongst a bunch of other nasty stuff kicks back into the bath. Towels gross(bugs). Asked 4 refund bc night in car- They accused me of stealing sheets andcharged me extra $$$ for stealing sheets (refunded bc it was a lie in retaliation) 5dys ltr I get ANTHR $$$ charge! I hd2 cancel card! Disgusting ppl in and out!

Johnna, You locked yourself out of the rental and attempted to contact me after midnight. 6 hours later I arrived at the rental to open the door. You thanked us for your 3 night stay upon departure but wanted a refund. VRBO reviewed all of your messages regarding your demand and like any reasonable person would conclude you were not entitled to any refund due to your own negligence. You even tried to blame your child for losing the key. You are an admittedly emotionally disturbed person that claims to suffer from PTSD. I'm sorry for your struggles but that doesn't excuse intentionally trying to hurt other people. You indicated that your recent divorce played a role in the PTSD. Hopefully you will get the help that you need. We take pride in the cleanliness of our rental and guest satisfaction. That's why we have 9 years worth of positive reviews. Your false testimony was painful to read. You also failed to mention your pillow case that you left behind but wanted shipped to you. I took care of the $15 shipping cost as a way to try and be nice.
The trailer was as advertised. The home's location in the countryside was appealing to us; very peaceful and a beautiful landscape. We found the interior to be more spacious than expected - especially in the living room and kitchen. The bathrooms were a bit problematic for our family. The master bath is spacious with plenty of counter space - unfortunately, the shower is tiny. The guest bathroom has almost no counter space, but has a shower/tub combo, which gives you more space. We were there to visit an older child at Mississippi State. The drive from the trailer to campus was on average 23 minutes. Not terrible. We found ourselves taking everything we needed when we went to town and then returning to the trailer late at night.
Pros: plenty of space for a family, beautiful setting, great communications with owner
Cons: 20+ minute drive, no plugs by the beds for phone chargers, carpet is past it's life, mini blinds difficult to open/operate which makes for a dark setting, bathroom configurations challenging for us
From the popcorn ceiling to the stained carpet and all the peeling paint, tattered towels and sticky non-stick pans in between, this place screams TRAILER LIFE. And I would stay here again because the essentials were wonderful: no smells, good bed, quality cotton sheets, great TV, etc. Hosts are sweet and supplied area information, directions, and even some goodies.
Our family stayed at this property for the Egg Bowl and Thanksgiving holiday. We were able to bring everything we needed to cook our college son a big Thanksgiving meal and had plenty of room in the kitchen. Dishes and cookware provided in the kitchen were helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Checking in and out was easy. Thanks for providing us with a great place to spend time together.
The property is just as described. Extremely clean with everything you would need. Just a short drive to MSU and it provided private accommodations. The hosts were extremely helpful and Courteous.

About the host
Hosted by DeLynn or Brian Willard
I am originally Arkansas. I met my wife while in school at M.S.U. After years of living away we have come back "home" to the farm that she is the fifth generation of her family to own, the place she loves most. My wife spent over twenty five years in the hospitality industry. We both love to cook! Come visit us and experience the South and its hospitality at its best.
Why they chose this property
My wife grew up on this farm, riding horses and learning to enjoy life and its lessons. She is the fifth generation of her family to own and operate this cattle farm. She has spent over twenty five years in the hospitality industry. Nothing makes her happier than seeing people enjoy fabulous foods. Also, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the the place she loves and calls home. This farm, loving people and food are her passions.
What makes this property unique
There are beautiful sunsets and rises. We enjoy the peace after living in neighborhoods for many years. Sitting outside enjoying the sights and sounds, especially the bright stars at night, something we could not see in town. There is nothing like eating outside while enjoying nature at its finest. Yet, we are close to all types of restaurants, events, ball games, the fun city life offers to be able to enjoy in a 20-25 mile ride. There is much to do in the Golden Triangle area. But we have to pleasure of being back to our rural paradise within a few minutes. Come enjoy watching our wild life, seeing the stars and moon vividly. There is nothing like sitting outside seeing rolling green pastures, hearing the birds chattering, catching a glimpse of the deer feeding, listening to the turkeys gobble or watching the geese and the ducks flying over. The view from the back porch or the patio set in the back is amazing, especially at sunset.
