About the home

"Beachfront Penthouse" is situated directly opposite the beach and just 100 metres from historic Cowes Jetty and the main street of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The vast open plan kitchen/dining/living area (with a giant flat-screen TV and DVD player) leads to the spacious Master bedroom (with its own large, flat-screen TV & DVD player), plus a huge en-suite bathroom with a corner spa bath. The other 2 bedrooms share the main bathroom (with separate toilet).

Outdoor Areas

The enormous balcony along the entire front of the Penthouse has a great outdoor setting and BBQ, and provides uninterrupted 180 degree views of Cowes beach. The home has a single car garage with internal access (via stairs) and with space to park an additional car in front of the garage door.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Aldi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The Penthouse has reverse-cycle split system air-conditioning in all 3 bedrooms plus the living room and there is one additional stand alone fan.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 4 beds, plus 2 foldout beds, accommodating up to 8 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two Single beds

Also provided are two top quality fold-out single beds which can be moved to whichever room suits guests.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Great views with a very convenient location
Overall we enjoyed staying at this property, it has excellent views and everything that you need coles, cafes, and the beach is a short stroll away. The only con I can think of is the length of the garage, I had trouble parking my Kluger in the garage as it barely fit, if you have a small or mid-size car /suv then that's not an issue at all. I will definitely consider it again and recommend this property to others.

Perfect location...
Mostly Positives but some negatives here.Stayed here for a weekend getaway with my daughter her husband and 3 children under 5. Perfect location across the road from the beach, great coffee shop and restaurant on the ground floor and walking distance to everything. Huge balcony where kids could potentially ride push toys if they had them. Loved the location and the owners were fantastic to deal with. The negatives for this apartment were an absolutely terrible chemical smell in the main bedroom walk in wardrobe. Could not open the door as the smell was overwhelming. The spare fold out bed that was kept in there would not be able to be used due to the overwhelming chemical odour. We did not need to access this walk in wardrobe so just kept the door closed. There was also a smell coming from the central drain hole in the ensuite, but when I covered the hole it stopped the smell. There is no clothes dryer. Power outage for hours due to storms whilst we were there but no emergency torch could be located. mattresses in main bedroom and other queen bed pretty uncomfortable. No soap, tissues or linen supplied ( apart from doona and cover)

Stunning and convenient location
This was a fabulous place to stay - spacious, clean and nicely furnished. We arrived on the Stoney Point ferry, crossed the road and arrived at our wonderful accommodation! I can highly recommend this accommodation, not only for its stunning location, but for its convenience, with everything you want and need within walking distance - it was an absolute treat, thank you!
