Yamin's comments are factually incorrect. I stayed for ten days in the apartment two week ago. to prepare for the summer season. I painted the bathroom and redid the grouting in the shower. I inspected EVERY towel, threw away about eight, replaced them with new ones and can confirm every towel is in perfect condition. I inspected ALL the bedding and can confirm it is in perfect condition. I bought a new mattress for the king size bed in January, and the bunk beds received the expensive new toppers which I had bought eighteen months ago for the old mattresses on the kind size bed. The sofabed mattress was renewed two years ago. I have slept in every bed and they are all extremely comfortable. Yamin booked for four people, but used all six beds in the property and I thus believe that six people stayed, which is contravening the house rules.

Hello Jack, many thanks for your kind review. Regarding the location, I do pinpoint the apartment on a map, and you have the exact address on booking, so I didn't think there would be a surprise on that front. The apartment is right in the centre of the village of Matten, and 10 - 15 mins (about a mile) from 4 stations (Interlaken West, Ost, Wilderswil and Matten), with regular buses which take 5 mins going to each station. I ski regularly and the journey to the ski areas has become noticeably quicker in the last few years due to the 'V' bahn from Grindelwald and the new high-speed cable car to the Schilthorn from Murren. There is a desktop light on the desk, which I though was sufficient but I have put a brighter bulb in it. There are also two main lights and bedside lights by each bed, which I find more than adequate. Otherwise I am really pleased that the apartment fulfilled your requirements.
