We appreciate and thank you for your review. We always ask our guests if there is anything they need and your husband said no and that everything was wonderful. We double checked the areas you said were dirty and found them to be clean. We also did not find any stains on our Pendleton bed spread. As far as the age of the house it was built in 1992 and not the 70’s. We would love a kitchen & bathroom upgrade but that would cost us thousands. We try and do one major upgrade a year and this year will hopefully be the ceiling. We have a couple water stains from a heavy recent rain. We do stay occasionally at our property which is a completely separate and private entrance. No where in our listing does it state that this is a new home. What you see in the pictures are what you get. You had access to three bedrooms which would have cost you three hotel rooms and locally you would have paid around $650 for those rooms per night without having the added kitchen and living room amenities so you did a very good bargain for a house on the river in Glenwood Springs. Thanks for staying with us. We have two layers of insulation which is approximately 4 feet. We rarely hear anything at all. We are also not always there. It was a pleasure to host your family.
