***Please be aware that our island is still going through recovery. All public beach accesses are open, there are approximately 24 restaurants now open, as well as a few shops including Jerry’s Grocery. The Causeway is currently under repair with 20 m.p.h. speed limit. Expect traffic delays coming on and off the island. Neighboring homes and condos are making repairs so expect noise, trucks & equipment at your property and throughout the island. Construction noise from interior work in adjoining or nearby units. Some amenities in your complex may be closed. The Pool & Courtyard is scheduled to reopen 12/2/23. Pickle Ball & Tennis Courts construction will begin 12/4/23 with a targeted completion of 3/16/24. Estimated Elevator completion date for Building 2 is 3/6/24. ***The pool is now open.***

Loggerhead Cay #263 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with a partial angled view of the Gulf. With a full kitchen and open living area, this unit can accommodate up to 6 guests. Relax and enjoy your downtime on the screened-in lanai that overlooks the serene courtyard and pool. This is a family-friendly complex with 168 units and a short walk to direct beach access. The owner provides beach equipment for your convenience. Loggerhead Cay complex amenities include: a heated pool, gas grills, tennis courts and shuffleboard. Located only a short distance from the Sanibel Causeway as well as the shops and restaurants along Periwinkle Way. This is a non-smoking complex.

Quick anniversary trip

The property is in pretty good shape considering a hurricane took out the whole island. The accommodation were very nice. We would stay at loggerhead again at a not so busy time of the year. I would recommend loggerhead to my friends

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo was ready and waiting when we arrived. Everything was clean and the promised "starter supplies" were in place. We had been warned about the construction noise and associated traffic but it was easy to work around. We didn't try to leave when the roads were busy in the afternoon.We loved our time on Sanibel and the accommodations added to our experience.We look forward to our next stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely location. Complex was well kept and offered wonderful beach access. One issue we had was the carpet in the unit. It needs changing. Unit was good size, some things a bit dated, but pics accurate. Couches and carpet could use a refresh. Overall a good unit, would be excellent with those couple changes. Management was great.

After Soooooooooo Many years of waiting for Sanibel

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was amazing. It had everything you would ever want. It was like being at home without the resposibilities. Other than Red Tide beginning to move in, the week was amazing! The weather was great and we spent most of our time enjoying the beaches up and down the coast from Sanibel to Captiva. Loved the shops and grocery stores. We so enjoyed just relaxing and spending time with good friends. Would definitely book there again. Even played Powerball to try to win enough to not go back!
