Living Spaces
The dramatic stone fireplace is the focal point of the cozy living room. There's nothing better than a roaring fire in the hearth as the family gathers together to share their adventures, tell stories, or catch a favorite show on TV. With a comfortable couch and two armchairs, all in the soothing shades of the sand and sea, you'll feel right at home immediately. A second living area with a deep, plush sofa overlooks the lake and offers a perfect spot to enjoy the views, some zen-like peace, and maybe the company of your favorite person.

Cooking & Dining
The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything the family chef needs to make everyone's favorite meals. With the triple window, he or she will never be far from a gorgeous view or a lovely breeze, the perfect accompaniment to dinner duty! A large peninsula bar for 3 offers a great spot for keeping the chef company, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, or serving as overflow seating for dinner. The dining table for 6 offers one of the best views in the house, with water views on two sides. Open the windows and feel the breeze wash over you as you savor your delicious dinner.

Bed & Bath
The primary bedroom suite offers a king bed and ensuite bath with a walk-in shower. Each of the two guestrooms are great for kids, one with two twin beds and one with a queen bed, nightstand & lamp, and ceiling fan. The guest bath offers a walk-in shower. The entire home is on one level.

Will you ever come inside from the huge lakefront patio? You probably won't want to, with its panoramic views of the lake, comfortable lounging area, and al fresco dining area. And don't forget your own private beach! Maybe you'll decide to grab a bottle of wine, a tray of cheese and crackers, and your favorite person and have a romantic beachside picnic? Doesn't that sound wonderful!? With charming downtown South Haven just a short bike ride away, you can be at your favorite shop or restaurant in just minutes, for another fun night on the town.

Two suggestions

Loved the place, was amazing to hear the water every night and see it right outside. Beautiful sunsets and the floor plan/layout made it easy even with 6 guests. A few things that would take it from “great” to “excellent”: 1- the home is located right next to a community access for the beach, so a ton of people walk by every day. Everyone seems nice, but there are no curtains so you just awkwardly make eye contact with random people. 2- would recommend some bug prevention measures to prevent things like ants and earwigs in the house. The weather stripping on the screen door to the deck is gone and the back door doesn’t easily lock. 3- there are exterior lights for the stairs and also an outdoor shower after the beach, but unfortunately the shower was not on and we couldn’t find a light switch for the outdoor lights so…two great features seemed to be inaccessible.

In regards to the curtains/blinds, the home is as shown in the pictures, with the only curtains/blinds being on windows in bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy. We do not advertise the outdoor shower as it is currently non-functional and we do notate that in our mobile guest app so our guests are aware while they are here. We will investigate the other items you mentioned as well so to improve on future trips. Thanks again, Stephen!
