The property was well situated on the beach and easy access to get to the beach. Large rooms, fit our family and friends perfectly. A few missteps were small items like missing tea kettle but they brought one, couldn't find BBQ tools in an appropriate spot, but found them, dishwasher was not working when we went to do our first load but someone came out the next day to fix it. Last thing, for the deck - the images looks like there is more seating than there is in photos, so we weren't able to eat outside with the whole group. Another thing most rentals we do not have to strip the beds or start a load of laundry but we did here, while not a huge issue just something that hasn't been typical at other Vrbo's. Overall though the stay was clean, great location to the beach, activities for available for the kids and the staff was very responsive. We would stay at this location again.

Couldn’t have been better

This place is perfect! The house has everything you need and the beach and access to it are spectacular. The proximity to Newport, Depoe Bay and Lincoln City is great. Perfect in every way.

Family getaway

The home was so lovely. Very accommodating for a large family. Easy access to the beach. Views were breathtaking. You could fall asleep listening to the waves from each room. Our bed was extremely comfortable. This is a great find and we so enjoyed ourselves.

70th Birthday Squad Celebration

The house was beautiful and very clean. So nice to have the number of bedrooms and bathrooms that were there! The kitchen was well stocked. The family room had such a great view and was cozy with the fireplace going. It could not have been a better location or house for visiting friends to stay. Thank you

Beautiful large home in great location

This is a beautiful home that looks just like the photos. Gorgeous views and easy access to a wide-open beach. The home is very well laid-out for a large group, with plenty of room for cooking, eating and socializing together, but still with room for individuals and smaller groups to find quiet spots. Beds are comfortable, rooms are well-insulated so it's quiet, and with a few small exceptions, everything seemed to be well-maintained and stocked.

Great house for a reunion

We had 16 friends stay here for a reunion and the house was perfect. Everyone slept comfortably and fit at the dining room table. The pictures are accurate: it's right on the ocean with beautiful views. Beach is accessible via steps a couple of houses up the road. Kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner. Would definitely recommend for a large group

Girls Weekend

I traveled to the coast with 6 girls for a weekend away. The house has such a beautiful view and is conveniently located in between Lincoln City and Depot Bay. The kitchen had anything you could ever need to cook. The hot tub was great with a view of the stars on a clear night. Bedding and linens top notch. Would stay here again anytime. Great Value

Annual beach trip

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was everything we wanted and more. Very well stocked kitchen, though we never located a pitcher, but we improvised. Plenty of beds. Had an unexpected media room, but the cable wasn't hooked up and neither was the DVD player, so we just used it as another bedroom since it had a sleeper. We received a text about noise level after 10pm around the fire pit, there wasn't one so that was no issue. Beach access is jus a block or two. Thank you for letting us enjoy the house.

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful stay at the Driftwood!! I was impressed with the quality of the items in the home. Kitchen utensils were good quality and we had everything we needed. Lots of dishes, glasses, silverware and towels!! The size of the house made it very easy for everyone to have their own space. We had some problems with the wifi but we called the property management and were able to troubleshoot it over the phone and it worked great the rest of our trip. Beach access was two doors down and a flight of stairs but this was not a problem for our group. Highly recommend this home!!

Weekend beach trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the Driftwood. The house (as of October 2016) is in fantastic condition. The main floor is very open and great for a large group. The reverse layout (living space upstairs) results in a bit of noise in the bedrooms but this isn't a huge issue. The house comes with a huge selection of DVDs and games (kids enjoyed this). My only real complaint was the lack of a stereo of any sort but we'd just plan to bring our own in the future (just a bit strange that a large beach home wouldn't have a way to play music in the living area other than through the TV).
