The receiver was unfortunately defective and according to our knowledge it was exchanged after a day. We have three more TVs in the house so that there were enough alternatives. It was also possible to connect one of the working receivers to the TV to which it was needed.

We had a WONDERFUL stay at Casa Blue Horizon. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. It is in a nice quiet area but close to many good restaurants and shopping. The heated pool is great and there are plenty of outdoor tables and chairs. This home is perfect, we loved our stay

Nice place, nice pool

This is nice home with a nice pool, but could have used a good cleaning, some general maintenence and some updating. Pricing is a bit deceptive, everything is in Euros, and extra guest fees include all guests staying, not just extras. Overall, with the hurricane damage and the beaches being closed, we made the most of great whether, the convenient pool, and the spaciousness of the home.

Serene. Perfect Getaway.

Driving into the community was quaint and beautiful. Upon entering the home, we were all pleased with the space and beautiful decor and striking view. The pool was clean and calming, the bedrooms and baths were just what we were looking for. Very tidy and lovely 3 bedroom 2 and half bathroom home equipped with everything you need. Great beds and nice bathrooms. Jacuzzi in master was very relaxing. The pool, canal, and home look exactly like it the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and is very quiet! Perfect location, very easy to get around minimal distance to awesome restaurants and activities. We wanted a home with a pool to swim everyday without the crowd of the beach and we were not disappointed. Hope to return again. Thank you, Brigit and Frank!

Perfect holiday in a perfect house

We had an excellent holiday in the villa. It was spacious and clean. The pool was nice and big and the water had a great temperature. The kitchen was well-equipped. Our teenage boys loved that they had their own bedroom each, and the PS4 in the living room made the evenings fun. However only one controller fully worked. If we should say anything to improve the stay it should be the fact that the door panel didn’t work, so there was only the small key to lock the house. That wasn’t what the guide said, so we were a little confused. Also the thunderstorms killed the electricity a couple of times, which made the alarm inside the house go, and we needed a code for that to make it stop. And finally it would have been nice to have more sun mattresses for the sunbeds. There were only 3, and we were 4 persons. But there were plenty sunbeds, just not enough mattresses. But overall we loved our stay. And the little coffee shop “Espresso to go” made my mornings everyday☺️ We can fully recommend this house!

Disappointed guests

We are very disappointed with the response we have had from the owners of this villa. When we arrived we had a lot of back and forth regarding contacting the property mangers. Property was in a good location but it all ended there. The property was dirty, both toilet handles where falling off, the plug in the main jacuzzi bath didn’t work, when it was fixed there was no water pressure and it took 45 minutes for bath to fill up. Unfortunately the main toilet seat was also stained. The property manager,Michael came by on day 2. He was very pleasant, told us to enjoy our vacation and to “( on no account) clean”. He promised to sort out problems and to bring an extra three sunbed mattresses. There were only 3 available and they were mildewed. Some of the problems were sorted but not the mattresses and we were advised these had to be ordered. When we have rented properties in the past( and we have rented many) things like sun beds are available as a matter of course. On our last day a different property manager came by. She walked through the property and advised it was fine, she also advised we would owe money for energy use. The original reading on the meter was not made in our presence and we had no knowledge of the original reading. She advised “ not to worry and to enjoy our trip home”. The villa was normal dirty following a two week vacation. There was food in the fridge and rubbish in the kitchen but no other mess was left. Imagine our surprise to receive a bill for “ extra cleaning “! The barbecue was dirty before we used it and we cleaned it before and after use. We were obviously quite annoyed to receive these additional costs when they had not been verified or explained. The villa is a little shabby and in need of upgrading. There were also lightbulbs out and no batteries in remote controls, all petty things but irritating when you are on vacation. We did not feel we got value for money and these extra charges have been very surprising and annoying. My wife and daughter are both health care providers who worked tirelessly during the pandemic and they are both disappointed by this end to a much anticipated vacation.

Nice place

Very nice home and comfortable. Quite neighborhood with beautiful sunsets from the dock. Would have given 5 stars but was told by owner and property Mgr both we could dock a boat at the home. Just FYI, you cannot get a boat to the home. There is a bridge that is to low and you cannot go under it except with a small kayak or john boat. I would recommend to the owners to put a ladder down to the water from the dock. We brought our own kayaks but it was to difficult to get in them from the dock. If we visit the area again we would consider.

Special Family Time

This was the perfect house for a little getaway with my mom, sister, and nephew. We hadn’t seen each other in over a year (I live in NJ, they live in VA) so we wanted an area to enjoy time together, relaxing, beautiful beaches, and of course- baseball (my nephew was in a tournament there). The location, size of the house, amenities, beautiful outdoor space & pool, and friendliness during check in and check out were all perfect! Thank you for providing the perfect vacation rental for us!

Great week at a beautiful property

The house us is beautiful and comes equipped with everything you need to make this a home away from home. Check in was simple and easy and the property manager was friendly and helpful. We spent most of our time outside at the pool which offers plenty of seating and the opportunity to relax and even dine al Fresca. Thank you for sharing your home it was a great week celebrating my parents 51 wedding anniversary.

Great place for a family getaway

Nice house that was great for our family week away. 3 bedrooms were great so each kid could have their own room. The house would also be a nice option for 2-3 couples sharing a place. The kitchen is well stocked so you can prepare meals on site. The south facing pool was great giving us sun all day long.

Lovely home

Wonderful stay. The house was beautiful, all the amenities you could possibly want and exactly as the pictures advertised. The pool area was where we spent most of our time is incredible and fishing off the dock and watching the turtles swim by a delight. Thanks Frank for letting us enjoy it all!

Everything and then some !

My Wife and I visit Cape Coral Florida every summers and have always put our trust in VRBO when it comes to renting a vacation home. Not once have we been mislead and Villa Blue Horizon is a prime example. This home is perfect and the most well equipped house we have ever stayed in. Tailsa, the property manager is there for you if needed. She is just a phone call away and can answer any question you may have during your stay. Donna and I usually spend days searching through hundreds of home when planning vacation. Our next trip will be much easier as this is the house we will choose for future visits to the Gulf. Amazing property

The villa is everything it advertised. Very clean, has everything you need. Just bring your luggage. Brought my wife,teenage son, adult daughter and grandsons. 2 are toddlers and one is an infant. Loved it so much , I extend our stay to 9 days

Wonderful Stay!!

We had an amazing stay with my family! The house is really beautiful and we really enjoyed the outdoor pool area and the beautiful view of the canal. Simple yet perfect

The process was fairly easy as this was my first time using vrbo. We had no issue with communicating with the owners. The house is exactly as described. The only flaw we found with the place was that the tv in the master bedroom needed a code to watch a free on demand movie . A minor issue and did not ruin our experience. I would rent the home again as we absolutely enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful!!!! So roomy!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Horizon!! We were 6 of us and we had plenty of room for everyone!! It was a wonderful month spent enjoying the home and the amazing weather!! The Villa was stocked so well with everything we needed!! The lanai was absolutely amazing!!!!! We spent so much time out there!! We thank you so much for our experience there!!!

Really nice house

The location location, location is convenient to all the restaurants and shopping and close to Ft Myers. House layout is nice 👍. My only problem was January was cold 🥶 and I couldn’t use the pool 🏊‍♀️ as much as I would have liked.
