Perfect for a family beach getaway

Our extended family, including 6 adults and 8 children, stayed at this property for a little less than a week. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house had everything we could possibly need to make our beach trip run smoothly. With just a short walk to the boardwalk, we were able to visit multiple times a day without any issue. Wendy was very quick to answer any questions we had about our stay and was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking with her again for our future trips to Ocean City.

perfect beach house for large family

Main floor living space and bedrooms were ideal for older adults with limited mobility. Downstairs space with separate entrances and bathrooms were perfect for teenagers. Covered outdoor deck was a great space to escape the heat/direct sun.House was well stocked with plenty of dishes, cooking items and included beach tags for 10 people. Location was ideal- just a few minutes walk to the beach and the shopping areas.

This home is so beautiful and the location is within walking distance of the local ACME as well as the Boardwalk! There are a variety of shops/restaurants in town within walking distance!The rooms were clean and the layout very pleasing! We had 11 adults and 6 children (3 and under) and were able to sleep comfortably as well find quiet spots if necessary!The host, Wendy, is beyond wonderful! We were already pleased by her pleasant communication during our decision-making process and how she quickly responded to any questions we had, but then on our checkout day, she was especially kind and understanding when one of the cars in our group was stuck in her driveway for hours until it could be towed. It was during this time that we had the pleasure of meeting her in person! We highly recommend this house (we stayed in the first floor) and this host!

Perfect Property

The house was as described, pictures were very accurate. This lower unit was bigger than most in Ocean City, perfect for our large family and our friends. The location was close to the beach and boards, but also close to downtown and the shops. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat!

Great family vacation

We were unsure of what our annual family vacation would look like due to our state’s travel restrictions but after making a last minute decision to explore New Jersey, we stumbled upon this great house. It truly had all the beach gear we needed so we really just brought clothes and food. Bedrooms were comfortable and overall layout was great. Ground level was helpful with our early risers and letting the adults sleep. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again!

Perfect Large House

House was in a great location, 3 blocks from beach. 6 separate bedroom plus downstairs family room with queen sofa bed. Large great room, also large enough to accomodate our family staying at a 2nd family owed house nearby so we ate together. Generous kitchen with everything we needed. Alsocomfortable front porch for evenings.Just was a perfect fit for our family. And the owner Wendy is extremely quick to fix any issues (we had a switch problem and toilet seat-thats all) We are hoping to come back next year and rent the whole house- there's a stairway that can be accessed to connect both units. Bottom line - couldn't ask for more!

Queen of Wesley

Nice place, clean, well kept. We were very satisfied with out stay and the process. The only suggestion we would make is to add baby gates at the top of the porch steps and the top of the steps just off the living room. Of course that doesn't matter if you don't have young children in your party.

House was even nicer than the pictures

Our family booked a last minute vacation & Wendy was super responsive and helpful. The house was clean and lovely. It included beach chairs, umbrellas and beach tags, which we greatly appreciated. Fantastic location. Easy walk to shops, take out and beach. We did opt to use the beaches in the higher teen streets as they were a bit less crowded, but loved being able to walk to many coffee/ice cream/ food options. Great furnished covered front porch. There was also a gas grill shared with the house next door. Minor inconveniences: upstairs neighbors were noisy and a few of the cooking pans have seen better non-stick days :). Had a fantastic week and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Stay

Rented both top and bottom units for my wedding weekend. House was perfect for accommodating friends and family. Owner does live next store and cares greatly for her property which made it difficult to relax.

Festivities all around! We thank you for choosing our home for your special occasion and everyone (especially the bride) looked absolutely beautiful!!! Having our 4 homes side by side offers many advantages and amenities to our guests (parking being one of them) and as an owner being on-site and being able to answer any questions or take care of any issues is usually helpful to our guests. Incredible family vacation

I really can’t say enough about how great our vacation was in Ocean City., and it all starts with the home that me and my family shared for the week. There were 14 of us that shared the first floor of the home on Wesley, and there was so much room. The fact that we could spread out and not be on top of each other was a huge plus. The home was exactly as described and as pictured in the listing. It was perfect for us. And the oohs and aahs I heard from the family told me they’ll enjoy staying there. It was well equipped with everything needed - some nights we ordered out, some we dined out - but what we enjoyed was cooking breakfast as a family, and having plenty of room to sit and eat. The location was also perfect, just a short couple blocks to anything you want or need - restaurants, groceries, gym, boardwalk, rides, water park. And a very short drive (5 minutes) to the bay for fishing and jet skiing. And the nice thing is the street is quiet at night. A lot of times when renting, you don’t get to talk to, let alone meet, the actual homeowner. Well, we got to meet Wendy, and spent some time chatting. Wendy was the perfect host- from the moment we arrived to the time we left. She was responsive, and cared enough to ask if there was anything else we needed that wasn’t currently available. You won’t be disappointed by renting this location, and from Wendy. Vacation is meant to take all stress away and recover from life’s constant go. Renting here and from Wendy will help you accomplish that task. Hopefully that helps any future renters make their decision. And I’m looking forward to renting here again.

Great location

This is the 2nd time we have rented this house for our extended family of 12 (8 adults, 4 kids). The house was great with plenty of room. We love the location being 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to Asbury with lots of restaurants close by. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere. It is so nice that the house comes with beach chairs, toys, a cart as well. The listing says it comes with 3 parking spots - one in the garage and 2 behind. The upstairs rental gets the same. While it is possible to fit 4 cars in the driveway, none of the car doors would be able to be opened. It is super tight. So, we just used one spot in the garage, one behind and found street parking for the others. We parked far away at first but in the evenings it is pretty easy to find a spot right in front of the house and keep it for the rest of the week. Overall, a fun family stay.

Great place for family!

Wendy has provided everynthing you could possibly need or want for full enjoyment of Ocean City. The house is well taken care of, comfortable furniture and plenty of room to spread out. Everyone totally enjoyed it. Beautiful place and good location. Would love to return again next year.

Amazing week

We had an amazing week. The property is only a few blocks from the beach and right in the middle of downtown. Lots of places to eat and tons of shops within a few minutes of the house. The house it self was great. It was clean and very spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. We loved the downstairs bathroom, great to shower the kids off without dragging sand through the house! We can't wait to go back next year!

This house was perfect for us!

I find it challenging to book a house that I haven't seen in person because let's face it, pictures can be deceiving. However, the Queen of Wesley was just like the pictures online. It's a beautiful house that is well maintained and beautifully decorated. We had four generations vacationing together for a week and there was plenty of room for all of us, with enough space for all of us to be together as well as enough space for us to spread out and everyone do their own thing. The front porch is great for just relaxing, enjoying the breeze and people watching. The location is perfect! You can easily walk to the beach and the boardwalk or go the other direction and walk to the shops on Asbury, restaurants, etc. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived and very accessible to address any concerns we might have had during our stay. I highly recommend this property. In fact, we're already trying to figure out what week we can stay at the Queen of Wesley next year!!!

Great Vacation Rental in OC

My family was looking for a rental in OC with enough room to comfortably fit our extended family and was close to the boardwalk and beach. This house checked all of the boxes. Great location, very clean and well laid out floor plan that comfortably fit us even on the rainy days when we spent a lot of time indoors.
