About this property
Escape to the countryside with the Farmhouse at Carmels Landing!
This gated, 154-acre working farm is highlighted by a lovely 50-year-old renovated Farmhouse. Decorated every holiday - Nov thru Jan 15. It is a cozy 4 bedroom, 3 bath home that sleeps 8 comfortably with an amazing sunroom that includes a huge dining table; it begs for family dinners! Snuggle up by one of the two gas fireplaces this winter and enjoy a good book. The spacious master is on the main floor and includes an ensuite bath with large walk-in shower with grab bars. The remaining 3 bedrooms are upstairs with a shared bath. Enjoy a cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate on one of the front porches (upper or lower). Located just one hour from Nashville, it is a good place to get away from it all. Approximately 14 miles from Downtown Dickson, you will have plenty of privacy on the property but enough activity that you won’t feel totally isolated. Take a stroll down Main Street in Historic Downtown Dickson you will find a bustling retail and foodie scene that offers local and eclectic offerings. Whether you are grabbing a cup of coffee at House Blend or getting a massage at Bloom Day Spa you are sure to have fun and want to stay longer! We are less than 5 minutes away from both Cactus Creek and Ruskin Caves wedding venues, and about 20 minutes from Firefly; if you are attending an event at any of these, come stay with us! Property has three security cameras and a "Ring" doorbell for your safety, motion detection will be turned off during your visit and recordings are only used in case of emergency.
New: 2024 Sept #1 song on country radio - Cody Johnson "Dirt Cheap" the landing pic for the video and the first 6 seconds were filmed here at the farmhouse!! What fun!
Property Includes access to Yellow creek for fishing or relaxing. (Inquire regarding barn access if you would like to bring your horse and ride (100+ acres of wooded countryside - suggest avoiding hunting season of Nov 6-Jan 2)). Crops are planted May - November each year. Please do not drive up to the property prior to your reservation date without an appointment.

This house is beautiful and we all enjoyed our stay very much! The property manager was also very kind and welcoming. We stayed here for the weekend for my wedding, so it will always have a special place in my heart!
We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful farmhouse. It is set on a stunning piece of land, and the house itself is perfect - tastefully decorated, fully stocked, and so cozy. The host was truly outstanding - so responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and going above and beyond. It really exceeded our expectations. So happy we found this gem!
Really nice place. All amenities, rooms, appliances, the grounds and the furniture were as good or better than being at home!We are looking forward to our next stay in the future at this property. We took many photos for memories with our new granddaughter! My daughter and her family are building a barndominium in the area and we will be visiting her many times a year.
The coziest Christmas cottage!! Wish we could stay for the whole holiday season! The views were incredible, clean beautiful home that had everything you could need!
This home was so pretty and well equipped with anything we may have needed and more! Beautifully decorated for Christmas, it was like having all the modern amenities in addition to a scenic cozy farm home! We made many beautiful weekend memories here with our loved ones, just loved it!!
Wonderful home and property, easy check in, all details easily accessible and explained well in listing and beyond. Communication with property owner was always fast and she went out of her way to help us. Would absolutely stay here again!
Perfect! The farmhouse provides a great space for families to gather and relax. We stayed here for our daughter's wedding and everything was perfect. The hosts have left no stone unturned in thinking of everything to make your stay a one to remember.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carmels Landing!! The farm brought back so many great memories for my husband's family. The house was perfect for our family to stay in for our daughter's wedding weekend. Kit was quick to answer any questions I had during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!

About the host

When we visited this property in 2018 looking for a place to get away, we simply did not want to leave. We lived in the Farmhouse while we built our dream home, but in all honesty would have been fine to while away the days on the front porch of the farmhouse. We love this property and hope that you will as well.
Why they chose this property
We have found that we love the quiet of the country, but can be in Dickson in a reasonable amount of time. Fishing in the creek is fun and walking the 100 acres of woods (outside of tick season) is a great as well. There is a branch that borders the south side of the property and makes for a lovely walk in the early spring/late fall. Our animals love it here! We have two horses, seven goats, six chickens, a llama and a small dog. Never a dull moment around Carmels Landing (Named after my 24 year old quarter horse mare).
What makes this property unique
Working row crop farm - growing season from May to November. Creek access for fishing or simply a picnic by the water. Hiking in the back 100 (again outside of tick season). There is a pond located behind the Tobacco barn and horse pasture.
