We stayed in McEwen for a wedding nearby. The home was nice and clean. All of the usual amenities were available, no need to overpack. The owner was very helpful and communicative. The area was quiet and beautiful. Would stay again.
great place to stay, we purchased some property in Waverly TN and came up to do some work on the property. we will be back as we continue to work on our property. loved staying here, very clean and quiet!!
We stayed here while attending an event at a close by hunting club and there was everything we needed and then some, we were very comfortable here. The property owner was also a pleasure to chat with!
The place was really a nice little, peaceful place. If you enjoy peace and quiet while on vacation or a trip this is the place for you! I love the ability to watch the game from back home, internet worked great. Furniture was comfortable and clean! Great over all experience!

Convenient location for our purpose
This home is close to NALTC and convenient for us when dropping off and picking our son up from school. Quiet and peaceful location, we have stayed there twice. A couple complaints discussed with the host.

Wonderful home
My family stayed here while taking our son to NALTC, which is mere minutes away. It was a perfect place to stay, close to town but with plenty of open space, fields and woods. House was perfectly clean and well furnished with linens, cookware and supplies. Even a small assortment of spices and detergents. We wish we could stay again when our son graduates but it’s booked that weekend. Highly recommend and a great price too

Forget this if concerned with ceiling water stains any other problems..
The deck is tiny with too much furniture and a ripped back. The back porch light was hanging by a wire. As we entered the house, the kitchen floor was sticky, microwave handle taped on, filthy oven, cabinets do not close and cockroach. The laundry room had large water stains from leaks in the ceiling and the A/C return grill had copious amount of dust in each groove. Living room has old lumpy carpet with extremely large stains, low uncomfortable couch

Jacqueline, thank you for staying with us. We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay.
- We apologize for the lack of cleanliness. We have the home professionally cleaned in between each guest's stay, however, we do understand things were missed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be reaching out to our team to set forth better cleaning practices as this is important to us.
- Thank you again for providing such valuable feedback, it is greatly appreciated as it allows us to correct these issues before our next booking.
The view, the home. All of it. Thank you so much for the stay!! It is so quiet and serene. The owner of the house is so nice and answered the phone every time I called, you guys are awesome! Super simple check in and out process. Awesome experience. We are looking to move up from Tampa in a few years and McEwen stole my heart. Thank you again.
We had a fantastic time staying on this property. Our kid’s loved having their own space. Everything worked as it should except the ice maker (which could have been our ignorance) no biggie, we just bought a bag of ice :) We will definitely stay again!
My mother, two teenage daughters, and I loved staying at this beautiful country home and can't wait to go back!
The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make your meals. The living room has plenty of furniture to sit on. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms were great sizes too. One bathroom has a tub/shower combo and the master bath has a soaker tub plus a walk in shower.
The owner, Clyde Capps is very kind and courteous. He is very welcoming and is always available should you need anything.
Next time we are in TN, we will definitely stay here!
I had a great stay. The house was really well equipped and the country setting was so nice but still just a few miles from town. The host
Mr Capps was so nice and accommodating.
I will stay there again if I am ever in the area again.
This place was wonderful. Fit all of our needs while dropping g our son off at school. We plan to rebook this later in the year when he graduates. The space and kitchen was so much better than a hotel would’ve been!
