Very Nice Property on the Bay

We really enjoyed watching the Tide roll in and out from this Bayside condo. The unit was clean and well equipped and Bill the host was very kind and accommodating. Located just far enough away from the bustle of commercial street and close to Sal’s Restaurant which we really enjoyed.If you have come this far, look no further-you will love this rental.

Perfect Getaway!

We had one of the most relaxing weeks at Bill's place. The condo is so comfortable with spectacular views of the bay. We immediately booked it again in the Spring and can't wait to return!

Most memorable getaway!

Bill is the perfect host and his place has everything you need for an awesome week. The quiet west end with the ever changing, beautiful bay at your front door is just what we needed to press reset and truly relax! This is our second stay there and we look forward to another one soon!

Quiet and Quaint

Charming place to stay while visiting Ptown. Located right on the waterfront with a great view and sound of the bay. Nice 10-15 minute stroll into the center of bustling Commercial St. Would suggest arriving before dark to get to the parking area which was a bit hard to find but totally convenient being only a 3 minute walk away.

The apartment was as described. Perfect location. Comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. We had mostly everything we needed, and when we asked for a couple things that were missing, the host responded immediately.

Compact, Cozy Getaway

REALLY enjoyed our 4-night stay here. Even a passing hurricane didn't affect this rock-solid, airy spot right on the Bay. Great views from the second-story windows. The West End neighborhood is a feast for the eyes and a short walk to town. We'll be back!

Great Location and Wonderful Condo

Couldn't get a better location. West End of Commercial Street was nice and quiet and Condo is right on the ocean. About a 30-35 minute walk from the Ferry Pier with luggage. Condo layout is great and owner responsive when we asked for some items that were missing originally. Would definitely stay there again.

Great West End Getaway

The unit was comfortable, clean, and in one of our favorite locations. Great water views, quiet neighbors, and decently equipped for breakfasts and lunches. We dine out at night, so didn't need to cook in. Very comfortable bed, and great sleeping, listening to the waves. We would love to rent this unit again.

Great Location and Great Place

West end of Commercial Street was quiet and relaxed. Right on the Ocean was fantastic. Walk to busy part of town was nice. Took about 30-35 minutes from pier with luggage. Accommodations were bright and completely adequate for 2 people. Liked the split between bedroom and living space. Owner responsive when needed bath soap and shampoo. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in the cape!

Bill hosted us for a week in his unit in off season. We came the coldest weekend of the year and even with frozen pipes the first night he stayed in constant communication with us and accommodated us so kindly through this glitch. Not only was Bill the sweetest, all the neighbors were beyond exceptional. I wish we could’ve stayed indefinitely. I cannot give high enough praise for the thoughtfulness we experienced this week. We come to Ptown A LOT and this was definitely our best stay. I fully recommend staying here.

Great Location But Needs Love

The unit is a two story condo with the bedroom and bath on the main floor, with the kitchen and living space on the second floor, accessible by a narrow spiral staircase. While the location is ideal, the place really lacks a lot when compared to other places we have stayed for the price point. The kitchen is sparsely outfitted - even cooking a small breakfast is difficult as there is but one frying pan. There isn’t a baking sheet to be found, no pitcher for mixing beverages, there wasn’t even a dish towel for clean up. While I don’t expect to be able to prepare a five course meal / this kitchen had barely enough to make breakfast. For us, the worst part of the unit was the furniture, bedroom and bath. All the furniture was extremely low to the floor and wasn’t comfortable. The mattress is completely worn out - we both woke with back aches every day, and the shower smelled of cat urine. We spayed with bleach and got the smell to abate for a day or two, but back it came. The hot water is also sparse in this place and the frig doesn’t get very cold. This place does not provide any beach chairs or a grill, typically found at this price point. Warning- The spiral staircase is too treacherous for older folks and the furniture is definitely geared for the 20-30 crowd. While we loved the location, and the easy access to the beach, for this price point I expect a more comfortably furnished condo and an adequately supplied kitchen.

Great stay

We loved this property. Perfect location, a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the center of town. We had dinner at a table in the sand at Sal’s Place only 5 minutes away. Fantastic. The unit was very comfortable and extremely quiet, as is the West end neighborhood. We had no issues during our stay, however I emailed the owner once before we arrived and once when we returned home and never got a reply. We had a four night midweek stay, but when I looked toward next summer we found a minimum 7 nights are required. We’re sad that we may not be able to return.

west end getaway

The place was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and easy to live in. Everything was as described with a well equipped kitchen. The bedroom on the first floor and living area upstairs allowed for some privacy and the spiral staircase was wide and easy to go from one level to the other. A private parking spot was just a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended.
