Wonderful

The lake house was very clean and comfortable. It was very well stocked with everythign we needed for our 3 week stay. We really enjoyed the privacy it offered, and being right on the water. We will be returning.

Quiet and relaxing

We loved our stay here. The house was perfect for our needs it was clean and comfortable. Shawn has done an excellent job equipping it with everything imaginable. The beds were extremely comfortable. The neighbors were all great, the lake and wildlife were beautiful and gave us entertainment and the dock was gorgeous! I won't hesitate to use this place again.

Perfect Sebring stay

We had an extended stay in Shawn’s lake property. Shawn’s property exceeded our expectations. We stayed during a time that we needed to restrict activities due to covid. The property is down a private street that leads to the lake. There are a few respectful, friendly neighbors. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen. The grand kids were here for a week they loved the yard, fishing from the dock , and kayaking. We spent house kayaking, fishing, watching the ducks and birds. There is an amazing state park not far and we walked about 4 miles daily. It’s an nice walk to Lake Jackson, the park, library, Sebring circle. Shawn was a perfect host . Shawn occasionally texted to make sure we did not need anything. Shawn left a detailed book about his property, that was a great reference guide for our stay. I hope to be able to rerun in the future.

Shawn was an excellent host and his place on Dinner Lake was perfect for us. Well furnished with everything we could have wanted. We especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck looking out over the lake. Shawn made check in and check out very easy and even shipped a sweatshirt we left behind. Great place to stay!

Fantastic

Serene sounds of nature

We arrived to a simply and nicely decorated clean house. The beds were comfy and the sheets were soft. With two full sliders, there was a great view of the dock and lake. The owner provided 2 kayaks, which we made much use of, along with water toy-floaters. He also contacted us during our stay to answer any questions we may have and to be sure everything was to our liking. It was a great place to just sit back, relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Great Working Getaway

We stayed at this lovely Lakeside home for 10 days and found the home to be clean and in excellent condition. We also enjoyed fishing on the beautiful Clear water lake and did manage to catch a few nice Bass. Our host was very attentive as we had some minor Internet issues which he promptly resolved. I would highly recommend this lovely Lakeside home especially for a great family getaway. Many thanks to Shawn look forward to returning soon!

This is our second home. We love spending weekends and breaks swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, and relaxing on the lake. We rented for many years on many different lakes and always came back to this one: clear water, sandy bottom, good fishing, yet quiet and laid back.

Why they chose this property

The property is close to Sebring circle yet still feels like the country. The lake is clear with sandy bottom. There is public access to the lake but rarely more than 3 boats on it, even on holiday weekends. All of the gathering rooms in the house overlook the lake, and the wide open view never gets old. The covered dock is great for relaxing and using the water.

What makes this property unique

Good location close to historic Sebring circle but away from the crazy-train of US-27, great open views of the lake from the house and porch, quiet little street, lots of wildlife, and fantastic covered dock for relaxing and enjoying the lake.
