What was lovely about this place was the fact that you walked in and you just knew you were in lap of luxury. The wonderful large bar, the indoor pool, the food provided on the table for breakfast, a fridge full of lovely food and finally one of the best beds I've ever slept in,

We had a fantastic stay at Tomfoolery Wine’s Cottage. The private heated pool and spa were absolute highlights, making it the perfect place to relax. The cottage itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. Its location between Angaston and Nuriootpa was ideal—peaceful yet close to everything. Highly recommend for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

What an awesome place to stay when exploring the Barossa. The accommodation is first class and the location makes getting around very easy. And what makes the whole experience even better is the host (Sarah). She answered all questions quickly and provided excellent recommendations and advice. We will be back.

Excellent Place to Stay

We had a lovely weekend in the Barossa and staying the cottage at the Tomfoolery Winery was fantastic. Very comfortable and well located. Sarah even made us dinner reservations at a place in town. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely charming cottage. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. All the provisions that Sarah left for us were just delicious and very much appreciated. Beautiful linen and everything was of high quality within the cottage. Located within everywhere you could need or want to visit in the Barossa. The pool was a huge hit as it was very very hot while we were there. Would love to visit again.

Fabulous Get Away

The property was exactly what we viewed online. The hospitality and goodies left by the hosts on arrival was a thoughtful and delicious surprise. The fridge was well stocked with local produce and the entire atmosphere was fantastic.

A charming , very private cottage on a well-regarded vineyard and winery. Elegant and supplied with everything needed. Managed with gracious hospitality by Sarah. Well located to explore the Barossa. Could hardly be more perfect!

Wonderful Bliss

We booked this stay for our 10th wedding anniversay and it did not dissapoint! We stayed for 5 nights and the house was equipped and stocked with more than enough food essentials and bathroom needs. The cellar door was a highligjt aswell! The staff are so friendly and knowledgable. Going in someer time was great to have access to a private pool to cool down.

40 th wedding anniversary stay

Very comfortable cottage and facilities excellent with all top quality appliances and provisions . Beautifully clean Good communication from host .Good location to explore Barossa . Only critisism is the website does not describe that the cottage is attached to the cellar door (close to road) and with the car park for the cellar door behind the cottage . We were under the impression it was in a more isolated site on the property . regards Peter and Jeni

Wonderful stay & attention to detail

I would highly recommend this property for your stay in the Barossa Valley. It was terrific to have a private swimming pool all to ourselves and our own little garden. The food and drink supplies left for us in the fridge were very generous and appreciated, it makes for an easy arrival if you have not had time to shop for anything. Terrific spa bath and little extras such as the boom box and local produce were all enjoyed. We enjoyed the Tomfoolery wines too and added a couple of dozen to our home collection! Thank you.

Perfectly located gem

From the moment of booking, the communication with Sarah was amazing - efficient, helpful and informative. Her knowledge of the region was so helpful in planning our itinerary. The cottage is gorgeous and so very well stocked with all the essentials and a few little luxuries too. The whole place is thoughtfully laid out, with all the modern amenities but in a charming setting. We loved the focus on locally sourced produce, products and furnishings. Location is fabulous and the tasting at the winery is a must! We stayed for our honeymoon and could not recommend Tomfoolery Cottage more highly! Next time hopefully it will be warm enough for a dip in the cute indoor pool! Thanks Sarah and Ben - we love your place!

Terrific stay at Tomfoolery!

Located about half way between Angaston and Nuriootpa in the foothills of Light’s Pass, this cosy cottage offered everything required for a romantic getaway. Sarah and Ben were lovely hosts offering excellent attention to detail. All you the provisions you could want for a continental or fully cooked breakfast were made available (even with dietary restrictions). We negotiated late checkout due to a balloon flight booked with Barossa Valley Ballooning which had the potential to end after the 11am check out time. Sarah was very kind in allowing us the opportunity for flexibility. Thoughtful provisions, lovely products and well located outdoor seating all added to the ambiance of the property and made for a relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Very relaxing

Very relaxing property easy drive to most places in the Barossa Valley. Cottage was lovely with every comfort covered, from sumptuous breakfast provisions to wine and toiletries. Great suggestions for surrounding wineries and restaurants. Thank you to Sarah, Ben and Stu.

Perfect getaway and perfect location

Host Sarah thought of everything , we came here for the weekend to celebrate our 20 th anniversary .Luxury accomodation, most comfortable bed , lovely relaxing bath , yummy local produce for our breakfast , more than enough and so fresh ! So quiet here and peaceful. The advice we were given for restaurants and massages were spot on ! Sarah made bookings for us and was quick with communication . Local knowledge was what we needed, the location of the property is central to all major towns in the beautiful Barossa . Tomfoolery wines , was amazing and Julie gave us a lovely one on one wine tasting experience ! Definitely coming back again and highly recommended , more lovely places to visit on our list for next time ! Thankyou Sarah ❤️Perfect weekend away for our special anniversary .

Best in Barossa

This was an outstanding place nestled at the back of tomfoolery winery. Sarah was an amazing host contacted me before arriving and made sure we had dinner booking reservations for the long weekend Her suggestion were outstanding Lots of good support and and books in rooms Breakfast goodies were supplied all local produce This is a definite place to book for couple.

Luxurious couples retreat

Beautiful little bed and breakfast place behind Tom Foolery Winemakers, among their vineyard. The cottage was intimate and yet roomy. Attention was given to lots of small details. Gorgeous locally sourced produce for brekky to cook on the WeberQ, or continental provisions. Cheeses, amazing wines that we could enjoy looking over the garden complete with herbs and fruit trees, or in the cosy cottage. Super clean and orderly with everything you could need for a home away from home. Thank so much for having us.

Wonderful

We had the most relaxing break. And the Tomfoolery winemakers cottage was the perfect location from which to explore the Barossa! The attention to detail in the cottage is to be applauded and the tour of the winery was one of the highlights of our holiday. We will be back!
