Enjoy Nature Comfortably

We just Upgraded the Internet!!!! Now have Fiberoptic WiFi. Updated the T.V. viewing with YouTube TV (NFL & NBA League Pass, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and much more!!!!
The WagonTrail Cabin is a luxurious log cabin overlooking the Pisgah National Forest, the French Broad River, the Appalachian Trail, and the town of Hot Springs, N.C. It is a relaxing getaway for couples or families that features 2 Master bedrooms with 2 Master bathrooms and a half bath. Come enjoy the serenity of nature from our cabin. There is plenty of parking and it is just in the city limits of Hot Springs.
This is a brand new house that we will start renting May 1st 2019.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This is a fantastic cabin that looks like living in a postcard. It is comfortable, spacious, and very clean. The owner put a lot of thought into what you could need and has very helpful info around the cabin, like menus from nearby restaurants and directions to trailheads.We came with 2 teenagers, and they both enjoyed the stay as well. We all had our own space, but plenty of options to hang out together. Would definitely recommend!

This was the perfect family getaway. The cabin was beautiful with amazing views and every comfort we could ask for. We made good use of the game room and hot tub, and had a lovely time exploring the area. The little town of Hot Springs was absolutely charming. We ate ice cream at Artisun almost every day and hiked at Lover's Leap and Max Patch. We found a great local swimming hole, took a trail ride at Sandy Bottom and took a soak at the Hot Springs Resort. The cabin made a wonderful place to get rained in and relax at the end of the day. We enjoyed the abundant birds and even saw a bear the last day! Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans & utensils. One recommendation: be sure you have 4-wheel or all-wheel drive to get up the road to the cabin. Otherwise, I give this place a 10/10!

This home had it all. A view, comfortable beds, perfect showers, hot tub, games for the granddaughter. We we in town for a wedding and needed a place to retreat to each night. We found it. Only about a three minute drive to the quaint little town, we found everything we needed close by. The house was clean, fresh smelling, welcoming and well equipped with all we needed. For those with mobility issues, there’s maybe 6 stairs going in, but then there’s access to the deck, porch, one of the bedrooms and two bathrooms all on the main level. You will never want to leave the deck. My husband and I 1000% will book this property if we are in Hot Springs again.

Gorgeous View

Wagon Trail is a beautiful property with comfortable accommodations. It is conveniently located minutes away from downtown Hot Springs. It has wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces, including a screened porch, hot tub, and a large deck with gorgeous views.

Terrific house!

Husband and I spent 3 nights for the 4th of July and couldn’t have been happy. The house has a great layout and definitely would be comfortable for families. It’s close to town and great views. Lots of wildlife and very quiet. Highly recommend.

Keith Ramsey and Misty Cooley Ramsey. I'm from Johnson City TN and Misty is from Greenville SC. We have a 2 year old named Caroline. My father was from Hot Springs, my grandfather and great-grandfather had a saw mill in Hot Springs. It has been my second home all my life, but we didn't complete our dream of owning a custom built cabin until 2019.

Why they chose this property

This property is special to me, its been in the family for generations. I am in the rental property business, and have accumulated over 40 rentals, but this is not your typical rental. This is our 2nd home, vacation home, and probably retirement home. We are opening up our home to share with you.

What makes this property unique

Every foot of this house is custom. From the 10 years of design to the custom add-ons from the builder. Every item has been meticulously thought out and planned for a custom dream home. We used the best we could find/afford on every detail. We will continue to add custom additions, including finishing the monster basement with a game room, video gaming center, and bunk house.
