With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, our home is ideal for romantic escapes, large family gatherings, yoga retreats, bachelor or bachelorette parties, company retreats, intimate groups, and volunteer teams involved in restoration efforts. Additional sleeping space available with pull-out sofa and air mattresses.

We loved the remote location. Such a beautiful Mountain View & unique architecture style. Lots of room for our church group to spread out. Loved the chefs kitchen & the hot tub also. Only issue we had was the AC but our host responded immediately & took care of the issue. Wish we could have stayed all week.

Host was wonderful with advance notice of directions, very gracious and prompt in answering any questions; even the morning of check out when I had to message and ask exactly how we needed to leave things (beds, used towels, trash...) Home was clean and absolutely gorgeous. Property is very secluded, and had more than enough room for our large family. The only downside was that we wish we had a few more days to stay!

I will start by saying that the photos as beautiful as they are, do not give this home justice.. It is amazing. The best equipped VRBO I have had the pleasure to share. Beds were simply amazing. The hosts are kind, informative and attentive. Thank you for sharing your slice of Mountain heaven Location puts one in the center of everything. I wish I could give 10 stars..

This beautiful home and property exceeded our expectations! The home was stocked with everything we needed and even more than we ever dreamed of. It was the perfect location to spend the week for our Sons wedding. So perfect that we ended up having his small, family only, wedding there in the yard by the fire pit. The home accomodated our family of 6 perfectly with superb comfy beds, plenty of areas for us to spread out and plenty of bathrooms! The views from the back deck were breathtaking! My favorite place for my morning coffee. The Host, Holly, was available and promptly answered our questions we had during our stay. I honestly can't find one thing that I wished had been different. Other than we didn't find time to enjoy the amazing hot tub! I guess I will have to rebook next year when we all venture back to the mountain to visit our now married son and daughter in law so we can enjoy the hot tub. This home is a dream. I didn't want the week to end. The online pics do not depict the serene, peaceful and beautiful stay you will experience. 100% satisfied! Would we stay there again? ABSOLUTELY! Thank you Holly for opening your home up to us. It truly was a wonderful week. My only recommendations for future renters is to screenshot the directions and entry code for the home before leaving WI-FI. ;-) that was an error on our part...it was very late, and we were tired. Thankfully, Holly noticed we had not yet entered the home and reached out to us via the security camera!

We have called this place home for 10 years - and I have to say there is something magical about these mountains. Due to frequent travel for work, we have been sharing our home for the last 8 years and love when folks get to opportunity to visit the area, regardless of the reason.

Why they chose this property

This place is truly magical - from hiking on the 35 acre property, to enjoying a drink as the sun goes down, to staring up at the endless stars - you will be disconnected from the busy world we live in, yet connected to the beautiful world that it is.

What makes this property unique

This custom-built home with a chef's kitchen is perfect for a couple's getaway or a family get-together. The access to easy hiking, both on and off the property, easy access to the French Broad River for water activites and local streams for fishing, and proximity to local wedding venues make it a special place to relax.
