Private, 2 bedroom each with flat screen TV, 2 baths, sun room, fireplace with sitting area, screened-in-porch, large 54” smart TV in sun room, Internet, land line phone, separate sauna cottage, wrap around deck with hot tub, near downtown Beech Mountain, also close proximity to Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, Banner Elk. Wood provided for fireplace, heat pump with heat propane gas heat, fully equipped kitchen with appliances. Rianni tankless hot water heater. Perfect for a long weekend get-away. Will rent by the month, week or weekend. 2 day minimum stay

Note: Sun Room has twelve (12) 24" x 72 double pane windows. It offers a panoramic view of surrounding woods. Expect to see deer walking through almost every day.

Also Note: A Bear proof trash receptable has been installed at the entrance to the driveway. For convenience you can drop your trash bags here on your way out.

Lovely quiet stay

Second time staying here and love it. Cabin is well outfitted and cozy. Sitting in the sunroom or screened in porch and seeing deer wandering by is a treat.

Cabin in the woods

This cabin was our kind of place, out doorsy and quiet. good base of ops to the ski resorts and other activities. Starting out the mornings in the sauna or nursing sore muscles at night in the hot tub was perfect.

Weekend Ski Trip - family of 4

We had a wonderful time staying here. This property was perfect for our young family of 4 & dog. The location is <10 min drive to beech ski resort. The sauna & hottub were bonus amenities & a nice option after day on the slopes. We also enjoyd the wood burning fireplace to warm up after being out in the weather. Kitchen is well stocked, had everything we needed.

AMAZING!

Donald is an amazing host. There were very detailed instructions for each and every amenity that his little slice of heaven offered. The house is absolutely amazing. The hot tub was perfect. The sauna was outstanding. The wilderness around the property was spectacular. We will be returning very soon for another much needed relaxation weekend. Very Cozy and Relaxing!

This is a perfect cabin to get away from everything, especially during cold months! The cabin has plenty of room and is very relaxing! It is very secluded, only one cabin up on the hill blocked by trees. All of the provided instructions for using everything in the cabin made it very easy. The driving directions the owner provided made getting to the cabin very simple, even for us arriving in the dark. The hot tub was very clean and worked perfect, unlike many cabins we have rented. And I didn't mind checking the chemical levels at all, that is a great policy to keep it clean and sanitary! The fire pit was a nice touch while relaxing in the hot tub, although it was too cold to enjoy the large deck. There are deer all over the entire area of beech mountain, two even came up near the hot tub while we were in it. We used the sauna on a rainy cold day and it was very cozy and clean! Beware, it heats up quick and holds heat very well! This was very nice on the cold, windy day we had! The main part of the cabin (fireplace, kitchen, main bedroom) stays warmer than the added living area and added bedroom, since the thermostat is in that part of the cabin and the thermometer is limited as far as the temperature, highest we could go was 73, so living area temp wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked it to be. Also the added bedroom stays cool for the same reason and also all of the sliding doors in that room. Sleeping in that room would have been chilly. Beware of the driveway if driving a car, we had to get a running start every time and the driveway is rutted out which makes it worse! We barely made it each time, spinning the entire way up (on a rear wheel drive car). The only issues we had were cleaning issues...there were dishes that weren't cleaned well in the cabinet, moldy coffee grounds left in the coffee maker, and a dirty hand towel in the bathroom. Also, all the nooks and crannies could use a good cleaning (corners, under and around beds, floors, etc) Additionally, having to take your own trash down is inconvenient, especially having to put trash in the back seat of my car. Luckily, we didn't have our daughter or friends so we actually had room back there to put it. We loved the cabin and hope to stay here again someday! There are so many things to do near the cabin or within an hour drive! There's no way I could give the cabin any less than 5 stars.

Awesome place

We had a great experience, cabin was clean and was able to make a fire and had hot tub access. Cabin was beautiful. A little far drive to town but beautiful drive up and down the mountain. Me and my wife will be staying here again. Thanks guys

We loved our stay at this cabin retreat. Very clean, inviting and represents the description well. The location was perfect Les than 10 min to Beech mountain skiing, restaurants and only 2o min to Sugar mountain. But really, with everything this little cabin has to offer we could have just stayed in all week.

Anniversary Bliss

Absolutely can not say enough good things about the property and Donald! Our stay was wonderful! My wife and I chose this cabin for our 10th anniversary get away and it was amazing! Quiet, secluded and serene! We only had one small issue during our stay and Donald was ON TOP OF IT! If my wife and I have the chance to get away again in the future we will be staying here again!

As he lives in New England, he was willing to sell the property to avoid his long distance maintenance trips. The interior pine board paneling and exposed beams appealed me to immensely. I have spent the last few years making improvements and maintaining the property. If you stay, I hope you will take care of it in the same way I have over the years. Best regards.
