Lovely, but always something

It was very nice. We are happy we booked this property. I gave a list of minor issues to the property manager the day before we were leaving in hopes they would address for next guest. Things like broken PS4 controller, slow cable box, seam on steps coming loose, a screen around the pool beginning to rip, one of the arcade games not working, etc. These items were minor and didn’t impact our enjoyment of the property but they should be addressed. We received no response so not sure if they will. And I had go to their management office to give my ID and credit card the second day because we booked less than 30 days from our reservation. Apparently it is a requirement, but I need to stress it was a pain. Getting to their office took about an hour due to traffic around the noon hour. Should have only taken 15 minutes. Then they called a few hours later asking when I was going to come in. Huh, I was just there?!?!? This is sounding more negative than positive. Honestly the good outweighed the bad, and it was worth the value. We would do another trip with them, but we would do in advance of 30 days. And if they truly strive for perfection then I hope one of their employees does something with the list we sent.

Hello there, Jeff, and thank you for sharing your recent experience at Fairway Villa with us. Your vacation is extremely important to us, and we're regretful that we didn't exceed your expectations. For fraud protection purposes, it is policy that we require guests visiting less than 30 days from their initial book date to check-in at our office. We understand that Orlando traffic may be unpredictable at times and not always ideal, but the process is to ensure our guest's information is protected from fraud-related situations. We have also reported the findings within the home to our care team who were looking into the matter. We hope that despite this, you had a magical getaway here in sunny Orlando. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to welcome you for another getaway in the future. Regards, MVH.
