Great for big families!!

Overall, our family was comfortable and enjoyed the abundance of space! Being originally from Trinidad we enjoyed all the views (Simpson’s Rest, Fisher’s Peak) and it was cool to be at The Territory House.

Great property off the beaten path!

We stayed in Trinidad on our way home at the end of vacation based on its proximity to our route. 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs on our trip and everyone had plenty of room to stretch out and the dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. Would stay again if we are in the area.

The home was exactly as advertised. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of well lit parking. House was very clean! Host was amazing! There was a door lock issue from the prior renters and she had someone there that same evening to get it fixed! Will definitely be booking this house again!

Memories made....

Large, comfortable property, plenty of room for our family of 19, ranging from ages 5 to 73. Nice, quiet, corner lot with a beautiful view from the rocker on the front porch and fenced if you have fur babies. Kelli was wonderful and quickly responded when I, as a sometimes technically challenged senior, had questions. We didn't have any issues with the property and loved the time we spent together there!

Very impressive at the cleanliness of the property as a whole. Have no complaints at all what so ever if I'm being honest! Host even left a nice note with a tray of cookies. We will definitely book again when we come back to town to visit friends! Highly recommend this spacious house! Loved the open layout.

Saving the town of Reef

My D&D team has been playing online for 3 years. This September we decided it was time for a face to face. Between all of us we span 3 states so this VRBO was the place to meet. (A mere 11 hour drive for everyone) This House was perfect for us. Plenty of space for the 8 of us. The dinning room table was amazing, the kitchen was big. This place was great. We never felt like we were bumping into each other. My only non happy part about this was before i booked i had a question and it took forever to get a reply. Once the place was booked and fully locked in i got all the help i could want. We had one minor issue at the house but the host was there in like 3 mins to resolve it. That's some rock star service right there. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

House was nice and the hosts were accommodating. The home is off the beaten path and the road to get there is not well maintained. However, it met our needs and was relatively convenient to everything in Trinidad. We would stay again..

Peaceful Getaway

This property was just what my family needed for a nice, relaxing weekend getaway. The property was clean, the neighborhood was nice and quiet and close to all the activities we wanted to experience in Trinidad. Our dealings with the owner were smooth and uncomplicated. We had a great time staying here and would stay here again!

I wouldn't recommend this property for older people. The step from the parking area to the house is really tall and hard to maneuver. There is no bathroom upstairs which was a bit of a problem for us as we are all 65 plus. The kitchen floor slants.....we did gets some laughs about it. It's a good rental for a group of people with lots of room just not for the elderly.

Plenty of room for larger family. Most everything you need for a weeks stay. Love the air conditioning! More outside seating would make it perfect. Would definitely rent again if I come back to Trinidad!

Lots of Room for everyone

The Terrartory offers a nice getaway with lots of room. The farmhouse charm was very relaxing. Despite the weather not cooperating on our trip, Wormhole Trail & Loop offered a nice hiking experience for members of our group. location is not far from Trinidad State Park & Lake or the core of the historic town.

Great Place

Lots of space within the house. 4 bedrooms upstairs and master downstairs. 5 of us stayed and had plenty of room for all of us. Very close to all the shops in Trinidad. The outside of the house is pretty private as well with high fences and gates if you bring a dog. Will likely stay again in the future!

Nice house. No bathroom on second floor where all but 1 bedroom are located.

Very clean and well stocked. Cold in 2nd bathroom where shower is. No heater. Enjoyed our stay with 6 people.

Lovely, spacious home.

Our family was there for our daughter's wedding. The house was ideal for all the wedding preparations. Spacious. An open downstairs floor plan. The fenced-in yard was nice, to just be able to let the dog out as needed. The large covered carport was great. The little front porch with a rocking chair, and a lovely view of the mountain was wonderful for early morning coffee. Lots of windows. The house was located on the edge of town, so the area was quiet, with very little traffic, which was nice. The washer and dryer and laundry facilities were top-notch, but the extra refrigerator was actually a freezer. Overall, our family had a wonderful stay there and would certainly return to this lovely home, if we are back in the area.

Beautiful historic home

This is a really old, very well kept, huge house with wonderful history. Lots of neat antiques, beautiful furnishings, plenty of room to roam. It does have WiFi & Satellite TV, but we enjoyed unplugging, playing board games, working on puzzles. Quiet neighborhood. Very helpful manager. It does not have central ac, only window units & fans, so if outside temps are 95+, it will take a while to cool down. Large Covered parking area was nice during rain, Mountain View’s. Fenced yard was great for the grandkids & dogs! Area lake does not allow swimming. But still great weekend getaway!

Lovely home with an excellent view.

Our family recently stayed at this spacious and very clean home. I loved all the history about this home. The kitchen was large and fully equipped. The views out of the windows were like a beautiful postcard. The owner was good at communicating. We can’t wait to go back again.
