Bear swamp lodge right side

Right hand side of a duplex. Two bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen dining and living room. The right side is single story so no stairs to climb. House is divided by locked double doors between sides that can be opened by owners for larger groups that want to rent entire house. We’ve been renting this for several years this way and it has worked out perfect for privacy for two small families or one large family get together.
Great abundance of wildlife also so come take a break, ride trails, hunt , fish ,kayak , or just get away from busy life.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Stayed at Clayton and Sherry's property for a Elk hunt in Mi. They are wonderful people and were very accommodating when we requested to shift our stay and add a day. Clayton who is a elk guide also came out one day with us and showed us some of the tracking techniques. He even help us retrieve our elk and help located a DNR officer as we did not have an immediate downed animal. Excellent stay with two excellent hosts!!!!

Softball tournament weekend

We didn’t get much use of the house because we spent most of our time at our daughters softball tournament, but it was a nice place to fill our belly’s and rest our heads after a long day! It would definitely be a fun place to stay with more time to enjoy it. The owners were very friendly. We were sort of late getting there (due to an evening ball game) but the owner still met us when we pulled in to give us all the info we needed to get in. Highly recommend.

Nice place but...

Difficult found correct way to place. My Google map give me wrong directions, so far east from correct point. But after communicate with manager he's sending me good directions. Next problem was bad matrices for all three slipping places.

Amazing getaway

We wanted a weekend getaway with the kids so we could hunt and visit family. The house was perfect, affordable, had everything we needed, pet friendly, which is huge for us with two pups, and the hosts were very helpful. Location was great for us as we used to live in Atlanta. Can't wait to stay again next time!

Hunting trip

This was our second year staying here to deer hunt. Friendly host, comfortable house with room to store our gear and right in the middle of thousands of acres of state land. All the convenience we need except for a dishwasher (not a big deal). Will be back.

ATV/Exploring

We enjoyed our stay at Bear Swamp. It was very clean, peaceful and plenty of room. Owner Sherry was beyond helpful and very gracious! ORV/ATV trails are less than a 1/4 mile down the road. We can't wait to go back!
