Master bedroom has a king bed and a private bathroom with a shower that accommodates wheelchairs and a toilet with robust physical supports for the handicapped. Dining room contains lovely dining table and comfortable, fine-quality chairs. TV cove contains audio system for CDs and radio, a 55" LED TV, and a hideaway couch that sleeps 2. Natural light pours into the living room, kitchen, family room, and master bedroom along the water-facing side of the home. These rooms look onto the pool area which contains a propane gas grill and a seating area for the entire family. Beyond this is the waterfront which is the source of continual sounds of birdlife, fishes, and the occasional dolphins and manatees. The dock is a wonderful place to take in the sights and sounds of the early morning, evening, and late at night. Docking available upon request. 30 day minimum stay

Great walkable location

We enjoyed walking around the Vina Del Mar Key and chatted with several residents at the local park, which included several dog areas. Additionally we walked to several waterfront restaurants with our pups and walked to the beach. The neighborhood was beautiful and the neighbors were welcoming, which was a big plus for us.

Perfect Gulf Cost Getaway

Charming home in classic Florida neighborhood. Excellent location, beautiful water views, walking distance to the beach and many restaurants…. Dave would check in to make sure everything was good with the house. Great experience!

Wonderful visit

Had a wonderful time staying at this property - house, pool and neighborhood were all terrific. Had a couple of issues with various items not working well and the owners responded very quickly to get them addressed. The pier was great - spent many mornings and evenings there - saw stingrays and dolphins most days, even caught a catfish fishing off the deck. :) Very much recommend staying here.

Our month-long stay at this property turned out to be a remarkable experience! While there is no question that this is a beloved family home, on a a beautiful property, with a most refreshing pool -- it is also a treasure-trove of reading material ( think 100s of books) AND Asian art. Not the usual vacation house. Host, David, could not have been more accommodating but this is an older house that needs updating. We feel grateful to have enjoyed the house, the pool, the water view ( made friends with a manatee!), and our daily bicycle rides around the lovely & friendly neighborhood. The location is perfect for exploring St. Petersburg, Gulfport, the beaches, etc. We had a wonderful time!

Much Needed Christmas Break!

From the moment we arrived and saw the gorgeous view, I knew we would have a great time! The home was very nice, roomy and well equipped. The owners immediately responded to two small issues that popped up. LOVED the dock -- happy hours, kayaking, reading, watching birds, boats and dolphins. Enjoyed all the Pass A Grille Christmas activities. The neighbors and neighborhood were great. Nearby dog park, playground, pickleball, tennis and basketball courts Plenty of good restaurants. We could have stayed another month!!

This was the best stocked house I've stayed in! Everything we needed was in it. We love the area, we walked our dog all over Vina Del Mar, and it safe and beautiful. The local park is great also, Dog Park, Tennis , and Pickle Ball courts are great. The host thought of everything. The dock and water view was a major plus for us, we spent a lot of time out there. Couldn't be happier with the experience!

Great water view getaway

We stayed here for the second time this past June, and once again, we had a great time. This house sits on the water of Florida’s inter coastal waters, and we were able to enjoy the water view from every room. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils and dishes, so you can cook from home without having to worry about not having what you need. We enjoyed grilling out and then running down to beach to watch the sunset. Also loved having our morning coffee out on the patio and looking for dolphins, which we did get to see several times. (We even saw two large sting rays one day). The neighborhood is charming as well as the people we met. We loved that we could bring our dogs. Would recommend this home for others to enjoy!

Awesome Property! Great family vacation.

Beautiful home located in Pass a Grille! Pass a Grille has great “Old Florida” feel. We enjoyed the pool, boating and local dockside restaurants. Everything you may need for a great stay! Had a few awesome days of fishing and enjoyed fresh grouper and snapper on the grill. Pool also has awesome shaded seating so the adults can enjoy a few “beverages” . While the kids swim and enjoy the large dock.

Dolphins, sunrises, and a beautiful home

We enjoyed two gorgeous months at 433 Hermosita. We sat on the dock and watched dolphins, rays, herons, and osprey as they fished. Four generations of our family found the home to be a perfect place to gather, and we ate many meals on the patio and enjoyed swims in the pool. The butterfly garden was a plus. The home is beautifully decorated, and we also took advantage of the large book collection as well as the nicely appointed kitchen. We will be back!

Peaceful environment, extraordinarily well maintained, saw dolphins regularly, close to the beach!

What a rental. This place is beautiful. The water is amazing... the swimming pool, the ocean water outside ... it’s so relaxing ... it’s peaceful ... and it’s close to the beach ... they have bicycles we used ... it was not our lowest price option but it was totally worth it.

Home away from home

Truly an amazing home. Location is perfect for easy beach access. pool and yard are very well maintained. Home is equipped for basic cooking. My family meets me there from all over the country. Very convenient for airport access. I have stayed in this home twice for a month at a time. LOVE the view of the intercoastal. I would stay in this home again. Owners are very accessible if there are questions or problems. I genuinely love this home.

Beautiful three bedroom home in quite neighborhood with caged pool and access to waterway with dock (bring your kayak and fishing poles). Close proximity to St Petes Beach, restaurants and and all the the island has to offer.

Feeling like jello in no time!

Hmmmmm. Should we walk or take a short bike ride to beautiful St. Pete's Beach? Perhaps we should walk out of the back door, past the pool and sit on the dock watching the dolphins swim by. A lovely, inviting property with every comfort you could imagine. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful setting on Vina Del Mar island

Our parents moved to Florida in 2003 and hosted family gatherings all times of the year. This photo is from one such event and includes Grandma and many of the grandchildren. We continue to use the property for such gatherings and are also offering it for rent to like-minded families interested in intimate gatherings at this very well-maintained and intimate property in gorgeous Vina del Mar of St Pete Beach.

Why they chose this property

House structure is ideal for all ages, from the elderly to the youth, with tile throughout a single floor level that accommodates wheelchairs throughout the home and the property, including the dock itself!
Excellent location provides lovely views of the water, and easy access to nearby beaches, parks, restaurants, and surrounding environment
St Petersburg area has the Dali and other museums, natural parks with extensive bird and aquatic wildlife, professional athletic events including car racing, football, baseball, and hockey, outdoor activities including swimming, cycling, beach combing, put-put golf, boating, fishing, etc. etc.
Lots of fun things to do here for all ages !!

What makes this property unique

Tampa International airport is approximately 35 minutes drive and when you get here you feel like you're a million miles from where you came. It's tremendously relaxing here, with the water, beaches, natural light, wildlife, restaurants, and so many enjoyable things to do. Hermosita here we come!
