This house worked perfectly for my wife and I travelling with our dog. The house was clean and comfortable and as pictured in the listing, the kitchen was equipped well and we did cook a couple of dinners without difficulty. The bed was comfortable, living space was comfortable, great yard for the dog. The area is quiet and we felt very safe, it is not really a walkable area. Overall, we had a great stay for a week in the Asheville area and would definitely stay here again.

This was a super property. Very convenient to Ashville and it's surroundings. The place was very clean and comfortable. It is in a mature neighborhood. At first it may seem like the neighboring houses are close, but privacy and peace were not an issue at all.

Cozy and close to most everything

We enjoyed our stay! Very comfortable and we were welcomed with Oreo brownies. Good communication from the owners and they were responsive to our needs. Convenient location and just a short Uber to downtown.

Nana's Cottage-MLK weekend 2020

Nana's Cottage was clean and convenient to Downtown Asheville as well as surrounding areas. The fenced-in back year works well when bringing dogs with you on vacation. Check-in is easy with the coded keypad on the front door.

Wonderful home away from home

This is a lovely vacation rental - close to in town Asheville. The home is impeccably clean and in a wonderful, quiet, neighborhood in West Asheville. Marilyn baked the most incredible bread for us upon our arrival, too. Can’t say enough great things about the home - 5 stars!!

Perfect location to explore all of Asheville area!

I recently visited Asheville with my teenagers and Nana's Cottage was the perfect location. We were 5 minutes from downtown Asheville, 20 minutes from the Biltmore, and had easy access to all sorts of outdoor activities. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Thank you for a fantastic trip!

Great Trip

We love the Asheville area and the location of the property is very accessible to downtown and other attractions. There is not a lot to offer in walking distance of the house, but everything else is a short drive or ride share.

Marilyn and Del were very quick to respond to any questions we had, and by far the nicest hosts we have ever had the pleasure to meet. Plenty of parking, a large fenced-in back yard with a nice deck area and just a lovely house overall. Be sure to ask Del about the pictures. We were here for medical treatment but spent most of our time hiking. It's an easy drive to Pisgah, Bent Creek, the Blueridge Parkway, Biltmore, and so many other wonderful places.

Very comfortable

Very comfortable home. Loved the fresh homemade bread that Marilyn left for us. Great yard and space. We will keep Nana's Cottage in mind for any future stays in Asheville. Very convenient for us!

Cute cottage

This cottage is comfortable and nicely appointed. The street itself is eclectic but a short drive to downtown etc. great backyard but if you need to walk your dog it’s a bit challenging.

Wonderful stay- great yard for pup!

Such a nice getaway. Fenced yard was great for frisbee/fetch with our little frenchie! Thank you for the homemade bread. It was delicious. Enjoyed Del’s history with a lot of the house decor and pictures.

Really enjoyed our stay at Nana’s Cottage. The home is neat as a pin, cozy, clean and has everything you need. Comfy beds. Appreciated the large fenced yard for our pups. Very good communication with host, and the fresh pumpkin bread upon arrival.. amazing. Within ~7 min drive into Asheville. Good central location.

Great house!

This house was perfect for my dog and I. It was well stocked with necessities. It was very clean. The fenced in yard was perfect. The bed was super comfortable. The owners are lovely. It’s 5 minutes to the center of downtown Asheville. I would absolutely recommend this house!

Perfect little house for me and my pup while visiting friends. While not in a walkable neighborhood it's still just a few minutes drive to Haywood Street and downtown. We both loved the huge fenced yard and porch. Wifi was fast and was able to get some work done without issies. Very Clean. Was greeted with banana bread by our host upon arrival! Would stay again

Excellent Stay!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Nana's Cottage! The house was very clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The freshly baked loaf of bread that was waiting for us when we arrived was a sweet and thoughtful touch. The yard and house were also perfect, and well-equipped, for our dog. We experienced a small issue while we were there and contacted the owners, who addressed it right away. We would absolutely reccomend this house and would stay again!
