**THE CASTLE** Family & Pet Friendly

The Castle is situated 950m (10min walk) to Goolwa Surf Beach, and is the perfect spot for your next family beach getaway.

This large two-storey holiday home sleeps up to 11 guests comfortably plus another 3 guests using the 3 day beds in the downstairs lounge room, has 2 separate living spaces, plus a large north-facing deck with BBQ, table & chairs.

Upstairs has open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a TV, DVD and stereo, and r/c air conditioning. Large windows provide panoramic views & access to the deck. Accommodation on this floor includes two queen bedrooms, bathroom & separate toilet.

Downstairs are a further two bedrooms, which include a 2 queen beds, 1 bunk & 1 single bed. There is also a roomy living space that can sleep an addition 3 guests on the 3 single day beds. The living room has TV with stereo sound & DVD player, a kitchenette, bathroom/laundry with a washing machine & separate toilet.

All beds and bathrooms are made up with fresh linen and towels.

Outside offers off-street parking for 4 or 5 cars, as well as a fully fenced back garden. The large front lawn is also fully fenced, providing plenty of play space for everyone.

The Castle is the perfect spot for family holidays including your family dog. With the large, fully fenced front & back yards, your dog is welcome at the Castle.

Birthday getaway

We were so happy to be able to enjoy our getaway with our fur babies Dexter, Angel and Harry. The house was perfect (except for the stairs ha) for our dogs. They all loved the front yard and I got many videos there that will be our favourite memories. The beach was our favourite place to visit and Harry had his first beach walk/swim. We can’t wait to return asap!!

The home was ok for our family group size (12 people), but it could do with some updating. The living room couch was very uncomfortable, no air conditioning in the downstairs area, and the outside lawn areas have not been looked after. We were a little disappointed, especially after paying a premium price for the accommodation.

Lovely, clean, functional and spacious

We had 6 adults and 6 children stay, and it never felt like we were in each other's pockets. The facilities were clean and functional; with supplies of the extras like washing powder etc. The balcony was beautiful, along with the gas bbq which was great. Nerissa was always prompt with her replies, friendly and willing to help. My only suggestion would be about the positioning of the air conditioner in the upstairs area (as this space will get very hot/very cold in the peak seasons); as well as catering to the same for the downstairs area if possible. Perhaps fans in the rooms could help a little with this? Otherwise, a really enjoyable stay, close to the beach and shops; and great big back yard for the kids/dogs to play. Thank you Nerissa.

The Castle is in an ideal location at Goolwa Beach on the Fleurieu Peninsula. It is a home away from home with so many things to see and do in the area or not. Just relax and chill out in this space and enjoy some well-deserved down time!

The castle is perfect for 1-2 families sleeping up to 14 guests in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, an upstairs open plan kitchen / living / dining, large windows with panoramic views and a north facing deck.
