We loved our time at this VRBO. They had everything we needed and more. It is a bit of a walk to the French quarter (especially if you have young kids), but definitely doable. Lots of space for our large family, we would definitely rent this house again.

Beautiful home in a lovely neighbourhood
We had a wonderful stay here during thanksgiving. The home is beautifully done and well furnished. Lorenzo and Shinda were very helpful during the booking process and helped arrange a crib and high chair for our use. The home is situated close to major New Orleans attractions. Would highly recommend the place to everyone.

Great house for our NOLA experience
The house was great. We didn’t spend much time there, but it was perfect for our needs. Checking in was a bit of an issue because the assigned door code did not work and we had difficulty getting ahold of the property manager to gain access.
This house, the location and the owner are all top notch! Short walk to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. The house is recently remodeled and has everything you would need (but remember to bring body wash or soap and shampoo) Beds and linens are super comfy. I really enjoyed working with the owner, Lorenzo, who was very accommodating and timely with his responses. Highly recommend!
Our stay was very comfortable , house is in excellent condition. The best part of our trip was Shinda!! She is amazing and helpful and due to that she is also a Lyft driver we hit the jackpot. She was so thoughtful and always on time and such a great personality. We will be staying in one of her locations again. Thank you Shinda for everything.
Great spot to stay, very clean. Good spot to hang out on the back patio or out front between trips down to the French Quarter. We mainly walked, but Uber/Lyft is 2 minute wait if you're tired or want to head out to spots further away. Secure parking off street (gated). Check out the local restaurants in the neighborhood, you won't regret any bite. Wonderful info provided by the hosts. Hope to stay here again on our next trip.
The home was beautiful in a historic neighborhood in walking distance of bourbon. The cleanliness of the home was in question as soon as we walked in the home. The rugs hadn’t been vacuumed in god knows when, the showers had hair in it, the sink looked like someone had just shaved and the drainage in the showers were subpar. The home it’s self was gorgeous just not as clean as I’m use to, we even pulled out the vacuum and cleaned the rug, and brought cleaning supplies and washed down all the bathrooms. Guess we paid for location and not top tier cleanliness. The host was nice and polite, when we spoke on the phone so that was a plus as well.
This house was conveniently located for outings to French Quarter. It is on a quiet street with parking right in front or if you have a smallish car you can secure it inside private gated yard. It was a snug fit, but we could park our Equinox inside.
The bedrooms were spacious with many pillows and the bed we slept on in upper level front was very comfortable. Two bedrooms are upstairs. Kitchen seemed to be fully appointed and modern, although we ate out for all our meals as we wanted to sample all the local food. The house looked and smelled clean. Just to point out, this house only has one tv and it is located in the downstairs back bedroom which is also furnished as the living room. This was not a big deal since we were mostly out but we did watch some sports. The cable& internet worked well.
Unfortunately, this rental is not dog friendly l would have loved to bring my doggies. The owners were nice when we had to reach out. The only tiny suggestion is for the towels to have been out in the restooms instead of guests having to search them out. Overall very happy with this rental and l would rebook. Owners were nice when we had to reach out. Thanks for maintaining this nice property.
A memorable visit in a beautifully maintained, spacious, and lovely home.
We had a lovely stay in the spacious, beautifully renovated, and spotless home that is well-located. The owners are attentive and respectful and they expect the same from their visitors to their home!
I would return to this house on my next visit! The neighborhood has many hidden gems!
We came to New Orleans to celebrate my sisters 50th bday and it was amazing! We walked to the French Quarter and the entire downtown area every day! Treme (the neighborhood) was lovely! We even got to enjoy a true Southern Baptist service on Sunday that was a block away. We were hardly at the house, because there is so much to do in New Orleans, but the house was beautiful, felt safe and comfortable, and perfectly located!
This was a great spot, close to everything. Very clean. There are 2 1/2 bathrooms.
Thanks

Perfect Place for Large Groups
The Kajun Kastle was perfect for our weekend. We had a group of 20 and were able to sleep comfortably in this massive house. The layout is a little funky but if you are even just moderately comfortable with the people you are travelling with, you will enjoy the shared space. The location is great, so close to the french quarter and Marigny that we walked most everywhere and felt like we got to experience tons of cool places. The recommendations from the host were all great too. Lastly, the back porch area was fantastic for some relaxing between exploring the city. Would highly recommend for any large groups.

Great House
Great place to stay. Its listed as a three bedroom but is truly a 2 bedroom- the third bedroom (2 twin beds is also the living room) it worked fine for us as there were only 4 of us. The area is perfectly safe- don't let other reviewers scare you away- It is a little noisy until maybe 2 am but its New Orleans- We walked everywhere during the day- Ubered at night- the parking spot at the house is VERY tight- don't expect to get a big car in it. Very comfortable furnishings. Would be great if it had a small vacuum or broom - even with taking off your shoes, would be great if you clean up a little as you go. Will definitely be back

Sons wedding
Came to New Orleans for my sons wedding. What a blast. This property was outstanding....from communicating with the owner before we arrived to helping us once we were in town, couldn't have been happier. Our adult children were with us in the house and we had a perfect vacation. This house is close to downtown, close to many restraints on St Charles and a quick ride to the quarter. Pool topped it off. We will definitely try to get this house on our next trip to New Orleans......5 stars and thanks for a great week.

Perfect Location
Came down to NOLA for jazzfest/bachelor party and couldn't have been happier with the place. Lorenzo was extremely easy to deal with, responsive, and professional. the house itself was clean, new appliances, and has everything that you need. the location couldn't be better. in a quieter neighborhood but walking distance to everything. about a 15 min walk to both Frenchman and Bourbon Street, give or take. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property and good location to French Quarter...
This property is beautiful on the inside. The pine wood floors are absolutely beautiful. All the appliances were brand new (or close to brand new) with everything being modern (all the way to the ceiling fans). I'd stay hear again and again on my next trips to NOLA. Everything was exactly as mentioned adn no surprises were encountered. Thank you!
The walk to the French Quarter isn't overbearing, but please wear comfortable shoes. No high heels ladies, unless you really know how to rock them and they are truly comfortable. Lorenzo and his staff were very helpful in assisting us in any way we needed. The house was very comfortable for up to 7 guests. EXTREMELY CLEAN! It was nice knowing we had a beautiful place to go rest after our days spent in The Quarter and wherever else we decided to go. Uber is only a click away on our phones and most destinations by using Uber were less than 10 dollars when we decided we didn't want to walk.
If you are thinking about staying in NOLA, I'd definitely recommend this facility. Parking is at a slight premium, so be prepared for that. All in all, I don't usually give 5 stars very often, but this house completely satisfied all 7 guests who are generally very picky about where we stay. My stress melted away once I walked into the place and realized that I had truly found a fantastic place for us to relax and sleep in NOLA. I love this city, the food, the drinks, and everything else a true NOLA experience throws at you... Thank you for allowing us to use your property to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. It's been 2 weeks now and she is still elated about the overall experience.
If you have 7 guests or fewer, I wouldn't hesitate one bit in booking this property. As mentioned above, the property is state of the art. No keys to carry around, as the doors have a code to unlock. Wifi worked fantastic and the TV/Cable seemed to work just fine (all 15 minutes that I watched, as I didn't come to NOLA to watch TV). Everything you need is located on this property. All you need to pack are clothes, toiletries, and bring water, snacks, etc to put in the refrigerator. This is literally your home away from home in NOLA... 5 stars here!

Home Away from Home
We spent a fabulous 5-day holiday in this immaculately clean home! This newly renovated cottage was exactly as depicted in the pictures. Spotless and charming, we thorougly enjoyed the accommodations. Also, the keyless entry system was very convenient for a group of 8. Lorenzo was a wonderful host who quickly responded to our questions through email. We were able to arrange an airport pick-up for our party of 8 through him. Eric Mullins, the driver, was friendly, professional, and reliable. He even stopped at a grocery store on the way to the cottage so that we could buy supplies for the week. . We appreciated the quality linens, good mattresses, and simply equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Bathroom tissue, paper towels, soap, and laundry detergent were amply provided. The only negatives were the noise coming from the nearby highway and the fact that one of the sofa beds was broken. Although we promptly let Lorenzo and Shinda know that the sofa bed was broken and that we needed it for the comfort of all the guests, it was never repaired during our stay. We had to prop up a side of the mattress with a box to able to use it. We also had problems with the internet connection, but Shinda quickly fixed the issue on our second day. We really appreciated her friendly and helpful personality! The cottage is located in a very safe and friendly neighbourhood. As we walked by, many neighbours said hello and welcomed us to NOLA. The home is a mere 5-minute walk from Stop 4 for the Hop-on-Hop-off tour bus and a 15-minute walk from the Quarter. Do NOT miss Frenchman Street! Best bars and music! Do not hesitate to buy a one-day pass for the streetcar! Really worth the minimal cost! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us!

Beautiful home within walking distance of all the action- perfect for a bachelorette party!
My group was in New Orleans for my sister's bachelorette party, so it was important to me that we would be close to the French Quarter and Frenchmen street. This house was perfectly located 20-30 minutes (walking) from Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, Louis Armstrong Park, I could go on and on. The only time we felt that we had to take a cab home was Saturday night since we were coming from Bourbon Street at 4:30 AM. We had no problems with the neighborhood or neighbors.
The house itself was beautiful and spacious enough for our large party of girls. The beds were super comfortable, and everything was clean. The patio was perfect for downtime between activities. The kitchen was big, and the appliances were modern. The only things of note were 1. the parking space just barely fit my friend's SUV. We didn't need to use the car all weekend so it was not even a problem, but it might be helpful for future travelers to know. 2. there was no iPod dock or stereo system. Again, not a problem at all, just something to know if you're going to stay here (and you should!). These non-issues were too small to affect my rating because our overall experience was so fantastic.
Lorenzo and Shinda were easy to contact via e-mail and text before and during our stay and answered any questions that I had thoroughly and honestly. We all had a wonderful time, and we hope to visit soon! Thank you!

Perfect family getaway!
My family booked this beautiful newly renovated home to celebrate Christmas. Modern ameneties yet beautiful historic home. Bright and warm colors! Separate and private modern bathrooms for each bedroom. And we could park our car inside our courtyard.
In addition, we were walking distance to The French Quarter and Frenchman street. Our family had a perfect vacation.

My NOLA Experience provides fully-furnished, high-end, affordable vacation homes and apartments that meet your needs for those times when a "local hotel" just isn't enough. New Orleans is a perfect destination for family reunions, gatherings, and weekend getaways. We've got the beds, the baths–and the space–to prove it. Check us out!
Why they chose this property
There is simply nothing remotely like it anywhere in the city. This is NOT a shotgun where you walk through each others bedrooms, in fact the bedrooms and bathrooms are massive by any standard. This is for the travelers who enjoy quiet at the end of a long day or night out on the town. SORRY, NO early check-ins, or early-arrival baggage storage.
What makes this property unique
QUIET just a stones throw from the heart of the city. Huge rooms, peace and quiet, a real neighborhood on the edge of all the tourism and noise.
