Lovely apartment

We had a great holiday at Karen's beautiful apartment which is right in the heart of Almerimar. It had everything you could wish for. The bed was super comfy (we both suffer with back ache, so this was very welcome). There was a problem with our shower which Angie, the lovely, friendly manager got sorted within half an hour! Great service!

High spec apartment, perfect for our needs. Loved the extras such as the shower on the terrace, which was a godsend when the temperatures were high. Great situation for all the amenities that Almerimar has to offer.

Wonderful

We have just returned from a three week stay in this lovely apartment. Karen the owner is so easy to deal with and we would like to give a special thank you to Tracey the property manager who gave us such a warm welcome. We have made a lot of friends including Angie from Stumble Inn and we have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Excellent Apartment

Our first time in this area of Spain, and thankfully this was spent in the excellent apartment for our visit in May. There were no issues with Karen during the booking, and Tracy at the location was very helpful and stressed to call her if there were any problems. which there wasn't. The property has fantastic views, is well equipped, and in a fantastic location for the bars and restaurants around the marinas, as well as the supermarket and beaches. We would certainly re-visit this apartment again. Many thanks Steve & Lynda

Lovely apartment in a great location

Lovely spot for easy reach to all local amenities. Apartment had everything you could need. Local bars and restaurants were really good and some lovely places dependant on how far you wanted to drive. Supermarket just down the road. All in all a really nice chilled out break.

Lovely apartment

Very nice apartment, everything we needed on our doorstep. Tourist info, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants, bike hire, bus stop, beach and harbours. Great views from both terraces, everything supplied. Pool was one of the best I have seen at an apartment and very quiet, we stayed here in mid September and the weather was perfect. Property managers close by if anything was needed and will also taxi you from and to the airport if needed. Some traffic noise from the roads below but wasn't too bad. If you are planning any day trips to Granada or elsewhere I recommend you book well in advance as they get full up early.

Nice appartment

We stayed at the appartment for 5 days. Karen the owner was very accommodating when we asked for help with things as was the couple who look after the appartment. The appartment itself is lovely, very comfortable but very little kitchen space. The location can be a little noisy due to the traffic etc but to be honest we still managed to get a good nights sleep with the balcony door open. Good location for the supermarkets and restaurants.

The apartment was in a good position for a summer holiday, near the beach and the harbour.

It was a lovely apartment but not suitable for a winter holiday. The apartment was on the 5th floor right on the corner so you got the wind from the sea and the mountains and as the apartment doors and windows were badly fitted it was like living in a gale. You could not watch English television as advertised because when watching English TV the picture continually froze so it was impossible to watch. As we were staying for a month during February and March it was the main reason for taking the apartment.

Lovely Apartment, Great Facilities and Location

We spent six weeks here over January and February and kept patting ourselves on the back for finding it. This is a lovely apartment, very tastefully furnished and comfortable. The bed is ultra-fabulous! Even the bed-settee (which a friend used when she visited) is better than average. Incredible views from the apartment, just as described on the website, you can't get enough of it all, especially from the sunny roof terrace (where we found the most comfortable sun loungers we've ever used). In fact all the outdoor furniture is top quality. Being winter the apartment was very cool in the evenings but there are efficient radiators which Karen was more than happy for us to use. The only downside for us was that the kitchen area only has a very small area for food preparation. Am sure this wouldn't be a problem for an average holidaymaker as people tend to eat out whilst on holiday but we were here for six weeks (who eats out every night for six weeks?) and I follow a special diet so spend a lot of time in the kitchen. However, there's a nice big dining table that we put to good use to help overcome the shortage of space. There's a lovely big fridge in the kitchen too! Lots of nice touches like videos, books, even converter plugs in case you forget your own. We had problems with the satellite TV whilst there but Karen is in the process of upgrading the system anyway so no problem in the future. It was really useful to have our own parking space in the underground car park, a real bonus! Almerimar is a good place for a base, we did a lot of touring whilst there including to Granada, Malaga, Gibraltar, the Alpujarras, Roquetas de Mar, San Jose and Mojacar, Nerja, Berja and Frigiliana. All lovely but Nerja was our favourite. Wasn't keen on nearby Almeria, just really busy, not much to see. The promenade at Almerimar is lovely and our evening dog walk gave us incredible sunsets most evenings. Great customer service from Karen, she couldn't have done more for us.

Enjoyable holiday

We had a very pleasant stay at this apartment.It was clean and spacious. It's in a perfect spot as its close to restaurants, the marina and beach.It also has lovely views from the balcony.The owner was very helpful regards directions, recommendations and the meet and greet arrangements. Lovely apartment with sea view

We had a most enjoyable and relaxing two weeks in Karen's apartment. There was a heatwave during our visit and we appreciated the air conditioning and slept well in the large comfortable bed. There is a well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed buying food in the nearby Mercadona supermarket and cooking meals to eat on the balcony. There are many nearby restaurants which are particularly good if you enjoy tapas. We found the meals at the Chinese restaurant really tasty (they also do takeaway if required). The only downside for us was the traffic noise from the road junction below the balcony but this could be because we live in a very quiet area and we are not used to the noise. Due to the heatwave we unable to use the roof terrace as there are no parasols for the sun beds. I can recommend this appartment and would consider staying there again.

Sunny bright apartment

Beautiful clean spacious apartment. Well maintained and well equipped. Use of garage. Nice views from terrace. Spotless pool friendly people. Unless you just want a totally relaxing holiday You would definitely need a car to explore surrounding areas. Everywhere was clean and there was a fair few bars/restaurants to explore. Due to a serious accident the holiday had to be cut short. The small amount of time spent here was enjoyable!

Lovely apartment

This is our second holiday in this apartment and I am sure it will not be our last, the apartment has everything you need and is furnished and maintained to a very high standard, the living area is very comfortable and great for relaxing when you return home in the evenings, the bedroom wardrobe has plenty of space (and hangers) and the bed is very comfortable, the shower is also excellent, the rooftop sun terrace is a great place to catch some sunshine at any time of the day and gives great views of the coast, golf course and the distant mountains. We ate at lots of different bars, all offer a free tapas with your drink and everywhere the service was very friendly, Karen was great to deal with and if there are any problems at the apartment John and Joan are always on hand to sort them out. We would recommend this apartment to anyone for a great relaxing holiday.

Perfect

My husband and I have just spent two weeks at this apartment and we just loved everything about it. The photos on the website are exactly what its like, luxurious, spotless clean and everything you need within the apartment if you want to stay in some night's and watch tv or listen to music or just eat at home. My husband and I enjoyed breakfasts and lunches in the balcony off the main living area and we sunbathed on the rooftop which has sunbeds and a large Alexander Rose table and chairs. The large supermarket is just metres away from the apartment. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance most of which are set around the beautiful Marina. We ate out most nights enjoying the varied range of Tapas available the bars around the Marina. We also ate in The Stumble Inn which serves lovely homemade food , the staff are very friendly there. We also ate in Mario's , they do a nice chicken kebab or wrap among other things. Our favourite place to eat was Leos with lovely friendly staff and amazing food. Almerimar is one of the nicest places I have visited n holiday. There is a tourist information right at the front entrance of the apartment if you want to book day trips or find out things of interest in and around Almerimar. We had a quiet holiday this year which was just what we were looking for but we have rebooked the apartment for next year where we intend to explore more of the area and things to do there. If you are flying from Glasgow you need to fly to Malaga and arrange transport form there to the apartment unless you are hiring a car. The owners arranged transport for us with their apartment managers at a reasonable cost so it was no hassle and a very pleasant drive to Almerimar. The owners of this apartment couldn't be more helpful and informative of the apartment and Almerimar. I would not hesitate to recommend this to a friend.

amazing

This was our first time in Almeria and after all we experienced it will not be our last. Our apartment was fantastic so welcoming and spotless it contained everyting we needed and had such a warm and welcoming feeling we felt at home straight away. it had lovely touches and on arrival we had a lovely welcome message from the owners and a bottle of wine. Almeria itself too was such a nice place the people were so friendly and all bars etc we visited they made us feel so welcome.

What a lovely apartment this is, excellent location, nice and spacious and well equipped, and had loads of storage space, views from the roof top terrace are superb, the pool area is very nice and kept very clean and has a life guard, the owner was very helpful and provided us with lots of information about the area, and places to go and see and where to get the best tapas, would definitely recommend this apartment.

Fantastic Apartment

We picked our holiday based on the pictures on the website and we were not disappointed when we arrived. The views from the balconies are amazing in all directions and having the privacy of the roof top was exactly what we wanted. This a clean well equiped spacious penthouse apartment with all you need for a great holiday, lovely views from the balcony and roof terrace. It is in a perfect position for the supermarket, bars,marina and beach which are only minutes away. We want to be back there!!!

We both enjoy the luxury things in life, hence why we instantly fell in love with Almerimar the minute we first saw it back in 2005. We've met and made many friends who are such lovely people and it's always a pleasure to return to Almerimar and catch up with everyone.
Over the years we've seen the resort becoming more and more popular, particularly in the summer. The resort is a purpose-built haven for enjoying the most relaxing and comfortable break.
