Spacious modern apartment with large terrace and private pool, long & short lets

Thank you Dominic for staying and for taking the time to write a review. The quiet and relaxing location of the apartment that you mention is one of the reasons that many people choose our apartment. This does mean that it is a bit further away from things compared to the hotels and larger busier apartment complexes which can be much less peaceful. The nearest restaurants, beach, etc are approx.15-20 mins on foot and of course the suitability of this will vary for different guests and what they want to do/see during their stay. For those without a car the beach resort area (urbanisation), Roquetas de Mar, shopping centre and Almeria city are easily accessed by bus services which run around the resort and beyond (for which there is a stop close to the apartment) and taxis are reasonably priced. Therefore, a car is not essential. However, for greater convenience and for those who wish to more fully explore the costa Almeria (secluded beaches, pueblos blancos, antiquities, etc) a car is recommended.

Gracias por tus comentarios. Lamento el problema con el aire acondicionado. Tan pronto como me informó del problema, tomé medidas para intentar resolverlo. El problema fue un condensador de aire acondicionado roto que requirió la visita de un ingeniero y, por lo tanto, el retraso. Problemas técnicos como este son raros pero pueden ocurrir en cualquier propiedad. Lamentablemente, nuestros comentarios sobre la temperatura son exagerados. Me estaba quedando en el apartamento adyacente al mismo tiempo y, por lo tanto, conocía las condiciones climáticas, etc. Aunque el aire acondicionado no funcionaba completamente, estaba proporcionando flujo de aire y algo de enfriamiento limitado. Le aconsejé cómo mantener fresco el apartamento cuando está ocupado durante el día, es decir, abriendo las puertas del patio y la puerta trasera para dejar un buen flujo de aire. Usando este enfoque, la temperatura en el apartamento era muy cómoda y solo usábamos el aire acondicionado durante la noche. Sin embargo, no pareció que siguieras ninguno de mis consejos, sino que mantuviste las contraventanas cerradas, las puertas cerradas y el aire acondicionado encendido permanentemente. Estoy decepcionado de recibir 3 estrellas dado que yo y mi equipo local hicimos todo lo posible para resolver el problema lo más rápido posible. También es decepcionante dado que tenía un perro con usted del que no me había notificado con anticipación. Aunque permito perros hay un cargo adicional. Sin embargo, debido a los problemas con el aire acondicionado, no deduje posteriormente este cargo. Desafortunadamente, este gesto de buena voluntad no ha sido correspondido en sus comentarios.

I am glad that you enjoyed the apartment, the terrace and plunge pool, etc. I do everything possible to ensure as good a guest experience as possible and therefore I am a bit surprised by your rating . When I was informed about the reported difficulties in getting TV reception I immediately sent detailed instructions covering most possibilities. The TV is new and the internet service has good speed for TV streaming. It may that something obvious was missed. When you continued to have problems I directed you to my local agent for assistance. I was not subsequently made aware that there was still a problem and therefore I assumed that all was resolved. Guests who stayed after you did not report any problems. Additional entertainment is also available in the apartment in the form of DVDs, books, playing cards and games. The sofas have seen some use but continue to be very comfortable. We continually review the quality of these and all aspects of the apartment to meet guests needs and expectations and therefore take all of your comments on board. Recent improvements include; complete redecoration of the apartment, new TV and DVD player, increased internet speed, international TV, new patio furniture and new (higher) mattresses in response to guests who have previously found these to be low. Perhaps your rating is partly reflective of this being, as you state, the first apartment that you have rented abroad. However, I hope that you will return again in the future.
