Beatiful and peaceful villa with amazing views into the mountains

Lovely tradicional Stone house located in a peaceful villa with amazing views into the Tramuntana mountains( World Heritage) .The house has a combined living room/ dining room with open chimney in the ground floor. Next to this area is the fully-equipped kitchen( dish-washer, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, hob...) and a bathroom with shower. In the first floor there is another bathroom with shower/tub and two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a double bed(150x190) and the other one has two single beds (90x190). The house has wifi, SAT TV in the ground floor and spanish TV in one of the bedrooms, air conditioning warm/cold in the ground and first floor. The house is suitable also in the winter months. All the rooms in the house offer beautiful views into the mountains. The villa has many areas to relax surrounded by lemon, orange and centenary olive trees .
It´s a pleasure to pick the oranges and lemons from the trees and drink a freshly squeezed juice while contemplating the Tramuntana landscape `close to heaven´. The villa has a terrace with sunbeds, many sitting areas for eating , covered terrace, barbecue area.... It is 10 minutes walking to the square village. The town of Fornalutx has won several awards for being one of the most beatiful towns in spain. Only 5 minutes driving to the lively and historic Sóller town and 10 minutes driving to the nice beach of Puerto de Sóller.

Georgeos house in nature but at walking disance to the most charming town of Fornatlux!

We loved the house and the terrace. Location was also great!! Only negative were the beds... would for sure come back!

Peaceful Rural Retreat

Lovely peaceful retreat in the countryside with a good bakery/ coffee shop ten minutes away (and twenty minutes back- uphill 😊. Lovely views and sunset on the mountains.

Beautiful fornalutx

Lovely villa with spectacular views. We enjoyed the walk into fornalutx where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. We walked from the villa quite a few times on some beautiful walks, not needing to use the car very often.

Quiet and cosy place in Fornaluxt

Very nice and cosy house with a superb and relaxing view on the mountains at sunset! We enjoyed it a lot! Don t take a too big car to drive up there, it is a bit of an exercise!

Excellent stay

We loved staying in this houses situated in the mountains. We managed without a car but you need to be fit enough to walk down the steps into Fornalutx and then back up again to the house. The views from the house were stunning. The house had been cleaned to a high standard and Rosa had provided everything we needed for our 4 week stay. Rosa was really helpful and answered any queries without delay. We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to return.

Idyllic

Away from the rat race in a peaceful mountain location. Close to good restaurants, coffee shops and supermarket in Fornalutx, Soller and Port Soller. Well located to visit all the regional highlights. Our host was wonderful in accommodating a very late 2 am arrival after a cancelled flight, and then a delayed flight. I will visit again!

Peace and Tranquility in the mountains

Our 3rd stay in Fornalutx but the first time in this property. Spectacular views, enjoyed sitting on the terrace watching the bird life. You would never tire of waking up to the view in a morning. Rosa was the perfect host, easy handover and responded to any questions. 15 minute walk down to the village and a good choice of bars and restaurants. The house had everything you need, tastefully decorated and very clean. Would recommend Fornalutx as a destination and Rosa as your host.

Super nice stay

We stayed for a week during family holidays with an infant and had a wonderful vacation. The house is set back from the road on the side of a hill. The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet with plenty of orange and lemon trees around and even sheep that come to wander nearby, giving it a very countryside feel. The house itself is very pretty and especially very, very well equipped. Rosa has thought of everything. The village below is very charming and peaceful, which is a nice change from some of the more crowded parts of the island. Just be careful not to have a car that's too big, as the private road leading to the house is quite narrow.

Villa above Fornalutx

Rosa was a gracious host. Communication was great. Super helpful when I asked questions. The villa was spotless. The owner even gave us a bottle wine, water and huge bowl of oranges and lemons. The driveway up to the house is very steep. But that’s typical of the area. Get a small car and pack light. We shopped in Palma before we got to the house. That said, the grocery store in town was well stocked that we did not need to do that. We lived our stay and would love to return to Mallorca some day.

The property was very authentic. Set in a beautiful tranquil setting. Goats roaming the cliffs, bleeting and clanging their bells. The view was amazing. Beds were comfortable, internet good. Plenty of hot water. Able to use the surrounding fruit trees (orange, lemon and plum). Small to medium car at max. Do not try to drive all the way up to the villa. Park on level platform before villa and walk to villa. Fornalutx is a beautiful little village with plenty of restaurants and bars. There is a small grocery store which caters for most things.Visit the tennis club for beer in the in the garden whilst locals duel it out on clay. You drive everywhere. Too mountainous to walk, at least for us. We loved it. Thank you.

La maison de Rosa est un lieu exceptionnel, au calme et avec une vue magique. Etwas abgeschieden und ruhig gelegen. Wer es mag, dann ist die Finca genau richtig.

Unser Aufenthalt war so, wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten. Die rustikale Finca bietet alles was man benötigt. Die Lage ist ca.15 Minuten zu Fuß oberhalb von Fornalutx.

Die Finca war super, die Lage mit Blick in die Berge grandios! Die Zimmer waren schön, die Kommunikation mit Rosa klappte perfekt! Im 5 Minuten entfernten schönen Städtchen Fornalutx gibt es zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants. Wir kommen wieder 😊
