Detached 3 bedroom villa with own private pool in an attractive garden. Roof-top terrace with wonderful sea and mountain views. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach, 8 mins walk to the town with many restaurants, bars and shops in pretty La Cala (the cove) de Mijas. Very easy access to 11 different golf courses in and around 'golf valley'. Just 25 minutes from Malaga airport, and only 20-25 minutes to Marbella and Puerto Banus. Skiing just 2 hours drive away. Sleep 6 guests + cot.

EXTRA NOTES - please read:-

The upstairs double bedroom with ensuite is via an outside staircase

Refundable damage securtiy deposit of €350/£350 due before arrival and returned within 7 working days of departure.

A/C - Heating units is based on a fair usage policy of approx 14 hours usage per unit per day (24 hours) €25/£25 per week per unit. There are fans in all bedrooms if you choose not to have the A/C units.

Exit Clean between €60-80 (depend on number of guests left in cash for the housekeepers on departure .

Fantastic place

Fantastic house perfectly located in short walking distance to beach, town and supermarket. Car is not needed.Terraces and private pool are so nice.Kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms and sleeping rooms are nice and clean. Host is very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this place and would like to come back.

Modern kitchen fully equipped and bathrooms/shower rooms beautiful. Spacious and homely living space. Bedrooms great size and loved mine upstairs with beautiful view and terrace. TV had all channels required. Felt very much at home here. Pool area was great and pool water was clean and temperature spot on as weather was very warm. Walk into town was down hill over a bridge and along the main road, which with two small children, one in a pram felt safe. No worries there. Took about 8/10 mins to walk into town. Thank you Yvette, our holiday was wonderful and communication throughout was so kind. Will recommend to friends and family x

We had a lovely 2 week stay in Villa Breeze. It is in a great location being only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, supermarkets and shops/restaurants. The villa itself was well equipped and a good size for us a family of 4. It is very private, quiet and secure. The property has a lovely traditional feel with modern bathrooms and kitchen.Communication with Yvette was excellent - she was super helpful, informative and highly responsive to any queries we had in the run up to our stay and throughout.The only thing to note is that I hadn't realised the upstairs double bedroom with en suite is not accessed from inside the main villa - you go outside and up the external steps - something perhaps to consider depending on your intended sleeping arrangements.

Perfect hideaway, 10 minutes slow walk to the beach and small town. An ideal place to unwind.

Wonderful Villa

Wonderful villa, with lots of outdoor space. The kids loved the pool, and location was great to get about. Thanks to Yvette for sorting out a power issue swiftly, and great communication for all of our stay.

Excellent location and facilities

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the villa. Location, views, outdoor seating and pool were fantastic. A couple of little things would have made it perfect but did not in anyway get in the way of us having a brilliant holiday and we would return. Check in and out was simple and straightforward. Communication with Yvette was good.

A good stay

Overall was a nice stay so no complaints although the pool isn’t very big and looks a bit larger in the pictures but it’s fine for young kids etc and families. Facilities were ok but only 1 tv in the lounge I would recommend a tv in the rooms so you can relax in the rooms and not have to stay in the lounge. Would recommend amd was a nice stay

Ideal location

Ideally situated for La Cala and surrounding areas, bit of an incline to villa if walking. Pool and garden well kept. Owner easily assessable. Had a lovely time.

Great place to stay

The property was perfect for us with a bedroom up stairs and two down stairs. It’s well equipped for nearly everything you should need. It’s on a hill so you need to be able to walk but we didn’t find that a problem and we were pushing a pushchair. We had a perfect 10 day stay

Wonderful, Mijas, Costa

We stayed at Yvette and Steve‘s Villa for six weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is plenty of space and everything you need for a long-term stay. The villa is perfectly placed within easy walking distance into the town and beach. It is a great location for exploring the Costa del Sol. Yvette and Steve were very attentive and helpful.

Lovely little place

We stayed at villa breeze for 2 weeks, it was a very private villa , great to relax in and very peaceful … only a few minutes walk to a English bar down the hill , but quite steep on the way back … the walk into la Cala was 10 mins , where there are lots of restaurants shops etc and the beach , but you have to walk a long side a very busy road to get there. Overall we had a lovely time .

Villa absolutely fantastic great view's from upstairs balcony, new bathrooms and kitchen really nice, only 10min slow walk to centre of Mijas, Steve and Yvette always keeping in touch and easy to get hold of. Finally granddaughter loved pool she was never out it.

Lovely Villa....Made for a lovely holiday

Having stayed in a few villas in this area over the last 10 years this is without doubt the best...It has all you need for a lovely stay plus little extras that "might come in handy"..Its in a fabulous convenient location for La Cala village and a good base if you fancy longer trips in a car/bus/train. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children and fitted in with room to spare.. I cant recommend this villa highly enough and the owners are an absolute pleasure to deal with....Thanks for a great stay..

Fabulous Family Holiday

Lovely, well equipped villa in a great location. Walking distance to beach, bars, restaurants and within easy driving distance of plenty of attractions. To be honest though we took advantage of the lovely outside area and spent most of our days relaxing around the pool before heading out to local venues in the evening. Communication with the host, Yvette is easy and reliable and we would definitely recommend Villa Breeze to friends and family

Lovely property,and well maintained. Too cold to use the lovely swimming pool. Plenty of places to sit out. Weather was unkind to us with strong winds, however, it allowed us to light the friendly log burner fire.

Fantastic villa and holiday

Yvette is great from the moment you book, The villa is lovley as a family of 6 it was perfect, everything you need is in the villa. The pool was lovley and the upstairs bedroom with the veranda had great views and just a lovley space. The location is 2 mins from Restaurant and bars or a pleasant short walk to the centre of la Calla it's also a short drive to Fuengorola and Marbella. We all agreed when we go back to Spain this will be our first choice and I've shared the villa with all my friends and family. Thanks Yvette and Steve.

La Cala de Mijas is loving

Good location, needs updating info pack, pool cold even with solar heating, needs some general maintenance i.e fans, bathroom rails, water leak in sink doors, both wardrobes dusty. Owner entered with speaking to us Before Entering and very Slow to return of deposit. And who puts a photograph of themselves on display!!

We’ve just spent a lovely week at Yvette and Steve’s house.The location is perfect, a 10 minute stroll from town and the nearest supermarket. The walk to town is over a bridge and alongside the busy road but this is not as daunting as it sounds! The house is lovely, with 2 of the bedrooms on the ground floor, along with the practical kitchen and comfy living room and dining room.The 3rd bedroom was up a flight of external steps (very deep!), with its own shower room. This room was very light, with very thin window covers. We had to put a throw over the window so that we didn’t wake with the sun. The door is stiff and noisy.The outside of the house was lovely. A terrace with dining table overlooking the pool, an upstairs terrace and a good sized pool. This was really cold for the first couple of days and the baby in our party wouldn’t go in without screaming! The info we had was that it was heated but Yvette advised that this was an error and compensated us accordingly. It did seem to warm up towards the end of the week, or maybe we just got used to it!The barbecue was fab.Take lots of mossie repellant! We were bitten to death! Virtually all of the mosquito screens were tatty and did not provide any protection. We had to keep all the bedroom windows closed and use aircon to keep us as clear from bites as we could. This is the reason we probably wouldn’t come back. If the screens are replaced, it’d be perfect!

Family Easter break

Just back from a lovely 7 night stay in villa Breeze. The villa is just perfect ! It is lovely and homely and everything we needed for a family of 4. The outside patio and pool area was beautifully maintained with stunning flowers and a gorgeous pool (albeit a bit cold for me lol) but it didn’t stop the rest of the family enjoying it every day. We arrived Tuesday evening and we were able to walk to the Masalla Indian restaurant literally a few minutes down the hill. The next day we walked down to the beach then unfortunately the next day my husband hurt his knee and he was somewhat incapacitated. It didn’t stop us getting about at all we relied on Ubers which arrived usually within minutes and cost on average €6 into Calle de Mijas. Yvettes communication from the onset was very good and she also help organise transfers to and from the airport. We would definitely recommend villa breeze and would have no hesitation in rebooking 10/10

Small, rundown house

We booked this small villa for a relaxing week in southern Spain but were sadly disappointed. The property is poorly maintained, not very clean with the exception of the kitchen und is missing basics like a coffee machine, somthing to actually block the light out from the bedrooms and windows that close fully. The sun terrace furniture was broken beyond use and the pool heating will only work in the summer as it is solar. Also the owner found it proper to withhold funds owed to us including the security payment for damages for an extended period of time until we took the first legal steps, while not answering any mails. I can not recommend the property to anybody.

Why they chose this property

We were initially attracted to the Costa del Sol some 22 years ago primarily because of the strong record of all-year-around sun and warm temperatures, and we also had family connections here. We bought our first property nearly 20 years ago, and have owned a home on the 'sunshine' coast' ever since. We moved 11 years ago to our current villa because we wanted to be much closer to the sea, with sea views, and also wanted the ability to be able to WALK in under 10 minutes to the beach and to the very pretty town of La Cala de Mijas, which offers an array of lovely restaurants and bars, which curls around the beautiful beachfront of what is 'the cove of Mijas' (La Cala de Mijas).

What makes this property unique

The key benefits of our villa are: 7 minutes walk to the beach & La Cala shops & restaurants. Detached villa with own private pool and gardens. Roof-top terrace with stunning sea views. Very easy access to 11 different golf courses in and around 'golf valley'. Just 25 minutes from Malaga airport, and only 20 minutes to Marbella & Puerto Banus.
