The apartment had everything we needed for an extended stay. The host was very responsive to any questions or problems. WiFi was adequate, but not super fast. The area was fabulous. So many ethnic restaurants close by and some great pubs. The buses were very convenient and easy to figure out and there were several green spaces within walking distance for a slower, peaceful pace. We loved Camberwell.

Quaint place in Camberwell!

Jillian was a great host from beginning to end. Good communication! Her cute place had all the amenities needed for our stay. It was cozy and served three of us well! There are many cafes, restaurants and groceries close by. I would definitely stay again!

Location and good amenities

This apartment was exactly what we needed for our month in London. Location, amenities, support all worked out well. Congenial hosts nearby added extras on request without any hassle whatsoever. We even got to pat their lovely little dogs! We can recommend the property highly.

Welcoming home in a convenient area

The flat was perfect for my 12 year old and I. We were able to enjoy a week of calling it home. We felt very safe in the building. The view from the terrace was beautiful. There were also so many dining choices, stores, and pharmacies just steps away, as well as many bus stops that made for easy access to the city! Despite being out of the country, Jillian and her husband were able to answer questions readily and were great hosts!

The house is located in a not-so-central area, 15 minutes from the nearest metro station, but well served by bus lines.The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, except for the terrace, which is completely bare and poorly furnished with a small table and some disused chairs (the photos in the advert show the terrace of the apartment next door, which is flower-filled and more welcoming).During our two-week stay, we never saw Jillian. However, we did have a visit from a mouse in our home. We informed Jillian by phone, but despite her verbal helpfulness, she was unable to do anything to resolve the problem.So we spent the last 5 days of our vacation trying to stay at home as little as possible, avoiding leaving food on display and sleeping in the same bed with the children (who were terrified).On the other hand, London turned out to be fantastic. We'll return to London, but not to this house.

Appartement agréable et très bien desservi par les autobus dont plusieurs nous transportent directement au centre-ville. Petit bémol, absence de boîte à mouchoirs et de papier de toilette qui ont nécessité soit des achats soit le dérangement d'un voisin de palier.

Beautiful

The apartment is in a beautiful old building right across a little park and has a characteristic apearance. Everything you need is right across the corner. The centre of London can be easy accessed by bus or train. We had three wonderfull days visiting the city. Pity the sofa bed felt more like a hammock instead of a bed otherwise five stars!

Siamo stati in 4 nell'appartamento di Jillian, diverso da un appartamento italiano, ma confortevole. La proprietaria è molto disponibile, quando avevamo bisogno per qualsiasi cosa le inviavamo un messaggio whatsapp e rispondeva prontamente. Vicino c'è la fermata degli autobus , comoda per raggiungere diversi luoghi d'interesse, ci sono anche 3 supermercati vicino l'appartamento. È stata una bella vacanza, Londra è magnifica illuminata a festa!

Geschirr nur unsortiert vorhanden, hat aber gereicht. Terrasse war enttäuschend, da nur 4 Stühle und ein Tisch, die allerdings nicht sauber und nicht benutzbar waren, zur Verfügung standen. Die Bilder täuschen leider ein e schöne Terrasse vor. Ansonsten war es okay.

Great neighbourhood, very easy access to everything!

The neighbourhood is very busy, but the property is set back from the road, nice park across the street. The flat had everything we needed. Bus and train transportation was right at our doorstep. Lots of stores and restaurants right around the corner. Had a great time in London!

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, praktisch und schön. Wir hatten viel Freude an der Dachterrasse . Sehr nette Vermieterin, unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Die Umgebung ist lebhaft, zwar nicht sehr leise, aber mit guten Einkaufs- und günstigen Imbissmöglichkeiten. Zahlreiche Busse halten direkt vor der Haustür. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen und kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder.

Die Wohnung liegt Zentral, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Die Busverbindungen ist sehr gut . Man kommt zu jeder Zeit innerhalb 30 min zu jeder Sehenswürdigkeit. Die Wohnung ist sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Für 2-4 Personen super geeignet , nichts für Kleinkinder. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Seht toller Kontakt mit der Vermieterin, danke für alles.

Dear Jillian, dear Alec, we had a wonderful time in your cozy appartment and in London! Everything we needed was in there and around it. It was only a pity we couldn't use the terrace (winter) which makes your place even more special. The environment is colourful, bustling and green with lots of supermarkets, restaurants and other shopping facilities. It was very easy going with you, we appreciated your hospitality and uncomplicated communication. Camberwell Green is a terrific place to explore London by bus. You can get to all main sights close to the Thames (and further away) straight within approximately 30 minutes. Though London was exciting to explore, we always looked forward to coming back "home" to the appartment. For a family with two children (aged 10+12 like ours) your place is ideal. Thanks a lot for keeping your place so well and comfortable! Hopefully we will be back someday, we certainly recommend your appartment to family and friends!
