Regretfully not suitable for children, although small babies (ie not crawling ) are fine, with own equipment. .Situated in the peaceful hamlet of Newhall Green it is conveniently located for the numerous attractions of the North coast , nearest dog friendly beach and coastal path at Trebarwith 3 miles away. Helland Barton woods just 5 minutes down the lane with riverside walks and trails ideal for walking the dog, also nice walks along the lanes outside the cottage. The cottage is furnished in a simple country style, with original art and inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove , logs included . We really enjoyed staying in the cottage but the single track roads leading there were often challenging.

If my lovely visitors would follow my directions, that I send with the booking instead of the sat nav they will find it much easier.
A lovely, well appointed cottage set within a quiet village. Secluded garden perfect for breakfasting in PJs. Great walks, especially to the nearby pub, and yet close enough to the beaches and the tourist hotspots.
Beautiful, cozy cottage in the valley of Newhall Green. It contains everything needed for relaxing days with a kitchen and a little outside seating area. It’s quaint and conveniently located to explore the North Cornwall coast. From the start, Francesca made us feel welcome and was very accommodating. We’d definitely recommend Appletree Cottage to anyone who is planning a trip to Cornwall.Thank you, Francesca for making our vacation special.
Was an amazing stay at the cottage, instantly greeted by a warm and friendly welcome from Francesca. Myself and my partner had a truly exceptional stay and fell in love with the property. Thank you so much Francesca we fell in love with your cottage and the surrounding areas of Cornwall.
Perfect little cottage in a lovely village, well suited to those with dogs and ideally placed for days trips across most of Cornwall. Wonderful hosting by Francesca. The cottage was so clean and well equipped! Would definitely revisit!
Lovely and peaceful location with lots of interesting walks.
Close to the coast and lovely beaches. We had a fab day in Padstow as well as Port Isaac and Bude. The owner was extremely welcoming and explained everything to us.
We completely recommend this place. Thanks for everything.
Amazing cottage, beautifully decorated and furnished. Lovely homemade art and craft pieces around the property that add to the place. It’s got everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The host was amazing and went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Will definitely be going back again.
This cottage is a hidden gem. In a sleepy village with beautiful walks. Relaxing and so peaceful. A perfect escape with a lovely host. Will be coming back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at the beautiful Appletree Cottage. Francesca is a very friendly host and has furnished the cozy cottage with heart and taste. And when the rain just wouldn't stop, the wood-burning stove provided wonderful comfort. The superbly equipped kitchen, where you can really cook and bake, deserves special mention. Thank you Francesca. Lola and Harald with our dog Elly
A delightful quirky cottage well equipped in a quiet hamlet. So cool to sit inside when the mercury rises or sit outside in a small courtyard garden flourishing with colourful climbers and pots. Plenty of places to visit and at the end of the day retire to a comfortable bed.
Great home away from home. We wanted to stay on our own and this cottage provided that better than we expected. Quiet, clean, kitchen, washing machine, tv, Wi-Fi, shower and a comfy bed, what more could you ask. Host was easily contacted and very helpful. Highly recommended for couples wanting their own private cottage.
Lived up too all our expectations, we chose the cottage to visit all the place's we had visited when our children were young and where my wife's parent's had holidade for many year's. We had a medical emergency and Francesca helped my wife to deal with it.
Stayed for 6 nights (leaving just as the weather broke!) with my dog and had a brilliant time Cottage is so comfortable, and in a secluded hamlet close to Bodmin Moor and the north Cornwall Coast. Francesca, the owner, couldn’t be more helpful - thanks!

Franceska was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed chatting with her about the area and gardening, as she lives just over the road. The 200 hundred year old quarryman’s cottage was cosy and had a lovely energy.
We will be returning.
