The cottage was even better than we’d hoped. The house itself is stunning but all the extras provided really made it a home from home. Lesley is very welcoming and was at the end of a phone if needed.
The host provided more lovely quality basics than any other property we have stayed in which was greatly appreciated. Our two scent hounds who are always on a lead while out, loved the enclosed fields they could run free in. Highly recommend.
Perfect get away into the beautiful Cornish countryside.Lovely comfortable cosy cottage - with everything required to enjoy a prefect stay. Hot tub was lovely to have.We enjoyed the log burner on the cooler evenings. On arrival the host was very welcoming and we were presented with a beautiful selection of scones jam and cream - wine and chocolate and of course dog treats- a lovely touch. We also enjoyed a wonderful massage which is situated 1/2 mile from the cottage, a lovely relaxing way to start the day. The location was fine- we visits many beautiful beaches and would definitely book this cottage again, Thank you, our 2 dogs had the best time.
The cottage was lovely, clean and beautifully decorated. There was a pwelcome basket upon arrival which contained the most delicious jam we've ever had!
Excellent property, very good value for money, hosts very friendly and accommodating they go above and beyond what is expected. They put a lot of thought into what people need and the welcome hamper is wonderful, Lesley makes 5* scones. The private field to exercise the dog is an added bonus, we will definitely recommend
Beautiful & well equipped accommodation in a lovely peaceful setting, just fields & birds, blissful! The Hot tub was a very welcome blessing especially after all the walking.Host was lovely & the welcome pack was much appreciated especially the freshly baked scones & homemade strawberry jam, delicious. We will definitely be staying there again, loved it!
We absolutely loved this cottage. It was a real hidden gem! It was extremely clean and really well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and there was everything there that you would need. The hot tub was wonderful and the night sky spectacular. We were lucky enough to be there for the eclipse and also the Perseid Meteor Shower. The host was quick to respond to any queries both before we went and also whilst we were there and was lovely. There was a secure field about a hundred yards down the lane where we were able to give the dogs a leg stretch and they both loved it. Although in a really quiet location, getting out and seeing things was really not a problem as the cottage was quite central to most must-see locations. We got to Lands End, The Lizard, Kynance Cove and Tintagel as well as places more local like Looe and Polperro. We had a brilliant holiday and would absolutely recommend this little gem. The Welcome Pack was wonderful and those scones were gorgeous. Many thanks The Suttons.
We had a lovely three night stay at Tamsin's Cottage. Lesley was a great host. The cottage was as described, we were lucky with the hot weather and were able to enjoy the views and eat outside each day. The hot tub was a welcome treat in the evenings. The cottage itself was plenty big enough for our family of four and is finished to a high-spec. Lesley provided lots of extras such as tea & coffee and some delicious home made scones. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would love to stay again.
If you want a beautiful, fully equipped, home from home away from ‘life’ this is the place. Far enough away from everything to totally relax, but close enough to get essentials and explore amazing Cornwall. The property was spotlessly clean and interior is to a very high standard. The welcome pack of fresh scones, milk, eggs, jam and clotted cream as well as stocked essentials was a wonderful surprise.Lesley came to see us once we had settled and was so welcoming and happy to offer to help with anything we needed. We quality hot tub was the icing on the cake, such a great way to relax after exploring all that the area has to offer. We hope to return in the future. An absolute gem !
Overall a lovely property in a beautiful setting. A few ideas to improve the visitor experience - a porch for hanging/storing wet weather gear or a drying rack.Very nice to have separate bedrooms, both en suite. The smaller shower room was small - folding door on the shower would help!!Slightly bigger dining table for jigsaw puzzles or a coffee table. No instructions for the induction hob, or if there were, we couldn’t find them! Hot tub was LUSH!!All in all, we had a wonderful week. Thank you.
Host was brilliant with a lovely hamper and flowers thank you , fell in love with the cottage situated in a perfect place. Log burner and hot tub was amazing, very relaxing week and will be back
Tamsin cottage is the perfect place to both relax and explore from, perfectly located in the cornish countryside away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to attractions and places of interest to be able to go exploring. The cottage itself is very well equipped with everything you would ever need for a home from home stay, it's spacious but cosy and the hamper is a lovely welcoming gift. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dog to be able to be outside with us while we were relaxing in the private hot tub or dining on the garden furniture and the views from the cottage garden are beautiful. Communication from the host is very good, the cottage is next door to the hosts home, we didnt have any problems with anything but Lesley told us to just knock on their door if we needed anything. Even though the cottage is next door to the hosts home you have complete privacy. We plan to return to Tamsins cottage. Would definitely recommend this host and property.
