Beautiful house, view, and experience!

The house was lovely and easily accessible. We were very comfortable and enjoyed spending time together playing ping pong, darts, and taking the paddle boards out. Overall a wonderful experience!

Great location and lovely condo

We stayed here with a women's group and found it to be fully stocked, very comfortable and modern. Eric and Jamie have supplied mostly everything you will need for your stay. Modern and very clean, the view outstanding and you can walk to both the River and anything in town. Short drive to scenic Mt Hood and Columbia Gorge. We had a great stay

NOT SLUMMING IT.

The couch may be expensive, but it is so low, and not comfortable. None of the chairs suit me. Rug in living room sheds, not good for doing your yoga. Otherwise, all was very good.

Gem in Hood River

Eric and Jaimie were wonderful hosts. The place was clean, comfortable, and beautiful down to every little detail. We cooked in several times and found the kitchen well stocked with quality supplies. The beds were comfy making us ready to greet each morning with new adventures. We loved this little get a way and hope to return soon.

Awesome modern living in the heart of downtown

What a cool condo. The modern design and unique floor plan made for a fun and comfortable base camp for our guys ski weekend. The location could not be beat either. For a guys trip, being right across the parking lot of a brewery was as awesome as it sounds! Plus we could walk to many other restaurants and shops in downtown Hood River. Would absolutely stay here again.

amazing!

Beautiful property!! We stayed here for our wedding weekend in Hood River. The house was beautiful with a gorgeous view. We were walking distance from everything we needed downtown- restaurants, waterfront, brew pubs. Unfortunately, we were so busy doing wedding things we didn't have time to appreciate the ping pong table, paddle boards, and huge TV that were at the house for our use. We had a problem with the door handle when we first arrived, but the owner promptly responded and had the problem fixed immediately. I'd love to come back for a week with a group of friends and stay at this house and get into all the activities that Hood River has to offer. Oh, and the included parking is a great bonus!

Beautiful house with an amazing view!

Our group had a wonderful time at "River Views!" It's a fantastic place to stay for brewery tours or river fun, located in downtown Hood River within close walking distance of just about everything. Despite being off a main street, things were very quiet. The furnishings are high end and the house was extremely clean. Great communication from the owners as well. Highly recommended!

Perfect Place For Us.

Our week competing in kayak events on the river was greatly enhanced by staying at "River Views". The kitchen was well organized and big enough for several hungry paddlers to put together their meals and snacks throughout the day. The front door and back entrance had really easy to access to car loading and unloading and parking was pretty easy. The Beds were wonderful and plenty of pillows makes us very happy:-) But put all that practical stuff aside and all we can say is.... WOW. We have never stayed in such a beautifully decorated home. It was such a pleasure to spend time enjoying each others company overlooking the river from a luxury space. We are 50+ professionals with an addiction to water sports, and "River Views" was the perfect spot for us. We hope to pick up the ping pong tournament where we left off when we return next year. My only advise is that we felt it would be a hard space for kids under the age of 12.

About the host

Host profile image
My name is Jamie Reimer, and I’m a novice photographer from Camas, Wash., with a love of action water sports running through my veins. I began windsurfing in my hometown of Clearwater, Fla., at age 17, and was fortunate enough to travel the world competing and gaining minor recognition. I also started a swimwear line, which grew from bikinis to windsurfing shorts to workout gear for the likes of Hulk Hogan, much to my surprise. My husband, Eric, and I met in Aruba 29 years ago, when he bought a pair of shorts from my stand. Today, we have two children — Addie, 16, and Rush, 13 — and together we run an architectural cable railing business. We still spend a lot of time on the water, with kite boarding and stand up paddle boarding being our favorites. I’m eager to learn more about water photography so I can capture our busy water family in action and take part in our adventures as long as I can.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I have vacationed in the Hood River since 1988 and we have always dreamed of having our own Gorge pad. When this town home came on the market, we felt like it was the perfect fit for our family's active lifestyle.

What makes this property unique

The open floor plan and floor to ceiling glass windows sealed the deal for us. Extra large gear storage for all of our gear is a bonus. Close proximity to our local kite boarding spot, the Event Site and downtown entertainment also played into our decision.
