Stunning Mount Hood Views, Great Location & Five-Star Hospitality!**We were 2 families (total 7) and we had a fantastic stay at this gem of a property. The highlight has to be the view from the living room windo, which perfectly frames a view of Mount Hood so spectacular it looks like a painting.The location is unbeatable for exploring the area and far less expensive than staying in Hood River or Gov Camp. This location offers quick access to fantastic Mount Hood hikes—including a beautiful nearby waterfall—as well as the area's wonderful local fruit and lavender farms.The house itself is beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The bedrooms were excellent, the beds were great, and the AC was both powerful and whisper-quiet during a couple of unusually hot days. Despite being near the highway, the home is remarkably quiet and peaceful, and we sat outside both nights watching the moumtaim as the sum set - wow!The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with all the necessary cookware, plus great extras like spices, coffee, tea, and an espresso maker for a wonderful gourmet touch. Communication was lightning-fast whenever we had a question, and the checkout list was incredibly short and easy. Highly recommend this gem!
